This morning i went to GLS Auto to do the auto-lock, they are so friendly and we chit chat about all sort of accessories. Suddenly i saw Autosol Metal Polish for their own usage and selling purpose. We are the Autosol sole-distributor in Malaysia, and they bought the imitation product from one of the near by hardware shop. I explain to them how to differentiate genuine and imitation metal polish, end up they will buy directly from me. Funny. LOL. Business for them and business for me. rclxms.gif win win situation.

Hi all,

Am a future Mar NHC PMM owner.. Have been browsing the comments but seldom reply due to bz workload.. Just wana share some bad discount that I got from my SA.. think probably the worst among u guys.. got nothing not even an umbrella.. booked 1 week before launching.. asked for discount but nothing get.. he said new car no discount.. after getting to know all the fabulous disc that u all have,  i tried to demand from him but in the end nothing get too.. even for simple no plate WSH XX0 i need to pay RM350.. RM100 for runner fee.. and my 5 year satria was traded in for only RM10K.. i think i'm the fattest "water fish" in this thread..

oh yea he said no disc cos i got my own company loan and own insurance.. he earn pretty little out of the car commission.. anybody got from Honda Damansara? is it the trend there for not giving out disc? anyway my SA is a nice and polite guy that's one of the reason i didnt cancel the booking besides having to wait another 2 months..

fyi, I'm from Batu Pahat too.. think there are some BP forumers herel.. currently working in KL.. always see a CBP parking at Damansara Perdana as quoted by a forumer here.. am staying there..
*
Your not the worst, my friend bought a HC 2008 2 weeks before NCH launch. The SA didn't even told my friend there is a NCH launching soon, somemore 1-2k discount for that old junk. That was her 1st car and con by the SA. She even cry on this matter. sad thing.

May I know where and what shop in Pandan Indah? I will get my car next week and the first thing I want to do is to install that brake pedal lock. I am always outstation and don't know if I can join you guys for group package so planning to go there alone if time permits. My second option is to use Stoplock that I've seen in Tesco, Stoplock Original is RM 245 and RM 345 for Pro. For Stoplock users here, which of the two fits nicely on NHC? For RM 100 difference I prefer the Original since I don't see much difference between the two.
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

Well, i can give u his contact number so u can go his shop to have a look.

Just got Lock Tech install on my car at pandan indah, it cost me RM 360.00. He said if i found 5 ppl included me to install Lock Tech, it will be RM 330.00. Actually the main distributor is at taman ehsan, just near by where i work. I did call n go to the shop, they quoted me RM380.00. Maybe they want to protect their dealers. Anyhow, they don't have stock atm. This morning i got a text from GLS Auto, they told me Lock Tech has arrived. So i reckon they supply all out to their dealers already. Need to wait 2 weeks to have ready stock.

Anyone wish to go for group purchase? I can try to press the main distributor to give more discount.

So far what i bought for my baby are Autolock - RM120, Coil Mat - RM160 & Lock Tech - RM 360. And now i planning to go for Meguiars 3 steps polishing and waxing, it costs RM499. My friend's husband own 5 car wash, so she give me one extra sealant. Normal discount rate is RM499 include 3 steps polishing & waxing and a chemical to protect all windows (to prevent water marks & the white thingy). She did give me extra sealant to protect the paint.

It is worth to do? please advise.

Is it the Meguiars' NXT wax sealant?

One thing I do know if you send your car for grooming, your car paint job will be better than the original(no orange peel on the paint surface). But in terms of protection, you still need to wash, clay and wax your car often to maintain the paint job. Btw, I cannot recall whether the 3 steps were the good one or there is another package above it.

That is why I put in the foglamps but not the headlamps. I can turn it off anytime. Hehe  thumbup.gif
*
This i don't know which range of Meguiars they are using at the 3 steps, so far Meguiars' NXT 2.0 wax sealant cost about RM128. Price control, buy from dealer or distributor also same price.

Still deciding whether DIY or let them to do. If DIY, i need to buy 300-400 Meguiars product to complete the process and it will take me at least 3 hours to complete(of course DIY can do up to 10 times). If i let my friend to do it, save time, energy but 1 time process only. lol. headache. rclxub.gif

How long will this last?
*
sealant last for 1 years, every 2-3 months have to do wax.

QUOTE(aquilaTE @ Mar 2 2009, 06:09 PM)
I think it's the 3-step using the Deep Crystal Polish & Wax. If you wanna get Meguiars product cheaper about 20%, check out which Saturday they are having their auto clinic held at Hypercoat, USJ.
*
u mean every saturday? 20% cheaper on Meguiars product and they help us to apply as well?

QUOTE(aquilaTE @ Mar 2 2009, 06:09 PM)
You mentioned your friend... does he/she works at Meguiars? IMHO, if you are not very good at paint detailing, I would advised you let someone professional to do it or you may botched up your paintwork.
*
My friend's husband own the car wash centre, so they bought Meguiars from distributor like Hypercoat or a-dealer. I not sure where they get Meguiars tho.
