Haha, no no wasn't referring to you bro! I was clarifying with Lame whether he meant to ask about the alarm or brake pedal lock... Sorry ar I got confused cos you replied on alarm, but I ended up confusing you.. lol.!
For brake pedal locks the Thai makes are much sturdier than the local ones. smile.gif

LOL It's alright. Never mind. Hehe... laugh.gif

Have any of u guys did any sort of paint protection in SS2 (Opposite Redbliss), i did one for my dad but i'm not sure what kind of treatment it is, cost bout 360. Is that a kind of PPS. He did mention that the material he uses will bond with the car paint and last for a year or so...

Added on March 12, 2009, 5:11 pmOh he also mentioned that Honda's paint is Acrylic base so the material he uses is Acrylic.

Are you referring to Sumber Auto that used to be in Jalan Universiti and now relocated to Section 13 near Jaya 33? If so, then they are quite good, got my car there. The have a full service 3S centre and the poeple there are quite friendly. I only waited 2 months after booking in the end of December.
*
Bro, thanks for the info. You are correct, Sumber auto SA quite friendly and nice. At least they didn't show me some "cocky" face. Do you mind to share with me what rebate and freebies you get? and what is the SA name?

I was offered rebate Rm400 + freebie including umbrella, t-shirt, and cup + tinting discount (he offer me 3m discount but i didn't ask him how much)

Anyone booking soon? Please share the package and how long need to queue? I see some of the bros here book before launch still cant get their car.

I doubt it might need 3-5 months..... but Sumber auto SA told me if i book now... mostly will get the car end of May or early of June (no gerenti and depend of color chosen)

Planning to loan 80% and repayment 7 years.... what package i can get? interest?? Please help. icon_question.gif

Hey there!!

I'm currently organising a group purchase for GPS, and if you can wait a week or so till I get mine, I'll deffo let you in on the coordinates.! smile.gif Would be more than glad to be of assistance to you.!

On the other hand, I heard you can get it done at Honda, but it'll cost RM400, as opposed to the rest of us who did it for RM100++... Anyway, if you plan to do it outside Honda, from what I understand, the autolock has to be done by someone who knows what he's doing with the wiring, else it could blow the ECU unit.! (And that could cost RM2k and above to repair)...

So far 4-5 of us have done the autolock at GLS Auto, with no complaints... smile.gif

Cheers!

Thank you very much Sebaver, appreciate your reply. Kindly PM me the address or contact number of GLS auto, I will ask some of my friends if they know the place and might ask them to go with me to do the autolock. I will also try to look for that place in google maps to get the coordinates if I can, otherwise will wait for your reply. I don't think Honda's RM400 autolock is a wise choice if I can get it for less than RM200 outside, what I need is just to automatically lock my car once I press the brake pedal.
Regards.

That is what exactly the Brother's boss told me. Lock tech from Thailand got a new name now and registered their product. The quality of local/clone lock tech is ok so I don't mind if it is not original as long as it can do the job, in fact I think it is better than the Dplus brand that I installed in my car. Both boxes of locally made and Thailand made locktech were written in Thai language. He also told me that there are still original thailand made locktech in the market but he don't have any stocks anymore. DPlus lock is also made in Thailand.

We're in recession now, although our beloved G doesn't admit that. BLR and interest rate will go down again soon. It's only a matter of time.

Anyway, 9 years of loan is a very long time, and I'm afraid that you're tired of supporting your long loan period by the 3rd or 4th year.

i wanna ask a question.
in the manual it stated there ' if the car's doors
remain un-open for 30 seconds, the car will
automatically lock itself.

is this means that when we're driving, after 30 secs will auto lock??
or when we have park our cars, if we forgotten to lock the car doors,
it will automatically lock the doors after 30 secs??

which are the one?? rclxub.gif

It means if your key is NOT stucked at the ignition and your doors are closed (unopen after you last off engine), it'll auto lock.
