I find Caltex a bit less economical but slight power compared to other petrols I've used.
I've only used Shell, Esso and Caltex so far for my previous car and I like Shell mileage. Atm, my mileage is 420KM on full tank and when the first few warning lights come on. I think I can get another 100KM if I really drive it close to empty. |

QUOTE(sysh @ Feb 23 2009, 09:09 PM) True, they could at least give something to the buyers to entice them. Just got my survey form... hehe *evil grin* I'm going to give them bad review kao-kao... *snicker*My brother also had a lousy SA (which I almost bought my car from him too). He gave nothing at all, maybe 1/3 tank of petrol. The service center (Kosmo Kars @ Glenmarie) sucks too.. took 3 hours to do the 1k service, and no free car wash or vacuum. I hope he gets his survey so he can comment on it. I think the Jln 222 branch is good, except that the showroom is small (only 3 cars inside) and the service center is a tad small, hence the congestion. besides that, the SAs are friendly and got lenglui too Like what sysh said, I've got less than 1/3 of petrol tank, waited for almost 3 hours where I had an appointment and no free car wash and vacuum like my bro had. Plus people who came after me got their car earlier... |

QUOTE(sysh @ Feb 23 2009, 11:11 PM) Well.. let me go and try later and see (currently at work, so can't check my car). The brand on that bottle is Gard Group and the name on the bottle is Balanced-PH Car Wash Soap.Should be leaving soon. Will see 'smooth' or not. I can't remember the name of the shampoo, bought from his shop. It's a see-through bottle, about 500ml.. quite concentrated.. just need to use about 20 ml only for a gallon of water. Quite exp though. Bought it for RM40, but got a free cloth. Next time TT let you all touch, see whether mine is better or not (but let me wash my car yah..hehe!) |

Mugen bodykit looks like a con job. Probably someone design it to make a quick buck out of it. My say, wait a while longer.

Just got a word from my bro there is this guy selling K&N drop-in air filter for our rides. Each air filter cost RM245 and the seller is based somewhere in the southern region. Anyone interested to do a bulk purchased? We might be able to get a discount based on the number of orders.

A drop-in air filter is an air filter that replaces your normal paper type air filter.
Definition here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_filter Here is the company's website: http://www.knfilters.com/filtercharger.htm ![]() Note: Look at "stock replacement air filter". We usually call it drop-in air filter as most people car savvy knows that term. The other alternative is the performance one which we call sometimes "mushroom" filter. Anyway, the one I planned to get and so far inquired is the drop-in as I am mentioning it again *whew* I hope it answers your question. By the way, there was someone asking what tyre pressure for the spare wheel before the forum crashed. It is 420PSI(60Kpa). It is written on the sticker at the side of your driver's car door. The saying goes, "one man's food is another man's poison". Cheers. actually this 1 is my fren recommend me she said that light quite nice/special i oso never c b4 but now it seems that most of u dun like that anyway..i want to know is that legal? as from what i know.. QUOTE(sunnytkl @ Mar 2 2009, 12:32 AM) For certain accessories, if get imitation wan should be okay for some cost saving purpose. I just went to Brother's this afternoon and the only trunk tray they got are for other car models or the universal square ones. Unless, I can get an imitation boot tray similar to the original(tray shape follows the boot).e.g. trunk tray. i got the original modulo for free from SA. If i am going to buy for it, sure will those imitation trunk tray, b'coz it's under the boot anyway. purpose of getting it just to prevent some dirt or water. but for Illuminated Side Step, unless u r getting those imitation side step without LED rite or else better get from modulo b'coz of wiring job and not sure is the LED of imitation wan will long lasting. oh ya, the stock Tyre of E spec, 185/55R16 GoodYear Excellence is hard to get outside. get it from honda it will cost RM 300 per piece. $%$%$@#!abc...... really should raise it to honda once i got the survey call from Honda Malaysia. At the moment like what you said, Honday is the only one carrying the odd tyre size. Give it 6 months more and the other tyre shops will start carrying those model or the other tyre manufacturers will start a similar size. |

Say, I just want to check out something regarding the foglamp, if a S spec wants to attach it, do I really need to change the bumper or cut a hole into the bumper?

QUOTE(cppau @ Mar 2 2009, 05:37 PM) So far what i bought for my baby are Autolock - RM120, Coil Mat - RM160 & Lock Tech - RM 360. And now i planning to go for Meguiars 3 steps polishing and waxing, it costs RM499. My friend's husband own 5 car wash, so she give me one extra sealant. Normal discount rate is RM499 include 3 steps polishing & waxing and a chemical to protect all windows (to prevent water marks & the white thingy). She did give me extra sealant to protect the paint. Is it the Meguiars' NXT wax sealant? It is worth to do? please advise. One thing I do know if you send your car for grooming, your car paint job will be better than the original(no orange peel on the paint surface). But in terms of protection, you still need to wash, clay and wax your car often to maintain the paint job. Btw, I cannot recall whether the 3 steps were the good one or there is another package above it. Added on March 2, 2009, 5:49 pm QUOTE(sharinganez @ Mar 2 2009, 05:45 PM) That is why I put in the foglamps but not the headlamps. I can turn it off anytime. QUOTE(cppau @ Mar 2 2009, 05:53 PM) This i don't know which range of Meguiars they are using at the 3 steps, so far Meguiars' NXT 2.0 wax sealant cost about RM128. Price control, buy from dealer or distributor also same price. I think it's the 3-step using the Deep Crystal Polish & Wax. If you wanna get Meguiars product cheaper about 20%, check out which Saturday they are having their auto clinic held at Hypercoat, USJ. Still deciding whether DIY or let them to do. If DIY, i need to buy 300-400 Meguiars product to complete the process and it will take me at least 3 hours to complete(of course DIY can do up to 10 times). If i let my friend to do it, save time, energy but 1 time process only. lol. headache. You mentioned your friend... does he/she works at Meguiars? IMHO, if you are not very good at paint detailing, I would advised you let someone professional to do it or you may botched up your paintwork. Btw, once HC3 is more established, we can opt for a auto clinic at Meguiars for this club. |
