Really sorry to say that, I still need the address for the Topper and Ultimate sports shop address.

Just say the location I cant find it lol.

My friend just now just brought a wilson tennis racket at Sunway Pyramid Studio R because we do not know the actual location of those shops.

It cost him RM245 for that. Does those shop like Topper and ultimate buy racket will free big bag? or string? grip?

Guys (n gals?), I need your advice on this KL closed event. I have just been playing tennis for the past 2-3 years and developed dependable stroke.
I have never been to any competition before and never watch any live competition before. I am thinking of joining the Novice event for this competition. Anybody here joined this competition before?
How does the novice category play out?
If they are all have state representative ability and train like mad one even for novice category then I think I don't wanna join already (coz its RM50) sad.gif
anyway thanks and i love this forum !

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

now i'm a bit confused. i was told by the shop stringer today, that hybrid strings normally they string it Mains lower compared to Cross (e.g. 50mains,52ross ) and if stringing 2 tensions on same type of strings the Main is higher than cross (e.g. 52mains, 50cross) ..
is that true is that the norm ? wat's the upside or drawback ?

any sifus wanna answer ? praetorian ? z ?

No thats not quite... true.

By stringing the cross higher than the mains, you are only going to make your sweet spot smaller. I've never tried it myself since I'm most of the time on a 90sq.inch head, my sweet spot already damn small.

But according to some people, it does improve feel and control.

Hi guys!

I was wondering if you have space for more players to join up during your group's tennis sessions.

I have been playing tennis for 3 years and am an intermediate player, with decent ground strokes, who's also a big fan of racquets, strings and other tennis gear. I am still trying to improve my serve. Would love to join up for some tennis sessions.

I live in PJ and usually play with my bro on weekends at duta, kelana jaya or the club,BU.

Cheers!! smile.gif

no prob dude. if buying this type of racquet.. i would rather you spent that $$ on a good secondhand wink.gif Coz these are too beginner racquet which you'll go through them pretty fast and then you'll want to change another more advanced racq. just my 2cents

no prob dude. so far our grp has a few levels of players from beginner like me to a more advanced player like say June and Ckseong. Then we'll have players that is already advanced but pretend to be novice ( chip chip chip ... ) - i'm sure he's gonna deny this like in 30sec.

We play near my place in PJ too. I"ll PM you the location. hope to catch you one of these days.

Hello all, is it possible to join all of you for hitting sessions as well? Used to play quite often but work and injury has laid me off for more than a year. Would like to pick it up again as its the only sport i know. Heh.

You guys seem regular to David's shop. Anyone of you using Head i.Prestige 93 with 16G string, stringing at 58-60LB? The sticks were at Topper yesterday (Sunday).
