Why don't you ask that Politeknik? Surely someone there should be able to help you out?
'Better' is too vague.. better in what sense? MIAT is an approved school if you're taking LWTR as per BCAR Section L. They also have EASA programme. The other approved school by the DCA Malaysia is APR and METC. NILAI is also conducting EASA programme. See previous postings on these. QUOTE(LOREAL @ Mar 13 2010, 12:18 AM) Hi guys.... why do you say so? i heard it's just over rated. besides, you get a diploma only. University of Glamorgan gets a degree plus a Easa. can you please support your answer with some facts?

honestly speaking, is it true that this aircraft maintenance course is more to physical work than brain intelligence? what i see here is that, they focus more on repairing and physical work rather than lots of mathematics and physics theories. is that true? and for those who are replying in this thread, please let me know if you, yourself, are a aircraft maintenace engineer. i wanna know what you speak of is of real facts or just mere rumours.

For crying out loud, its aircraft MAINTENANCE. Mathematics and Physics theories don't keep the aircraft flying!

University of Glamorgan gets a degree plus a Easa. can you please support your answer with some facts? You do not need any tertiary education background to become an LAME. Instead of that you just need to enrol in any college like Aviation Australia to complete your module and also the practical training part. And also for your information, Glarmorgan University offering only B1.1 at the moment which is the Mechanical component of the EASA license. Mean while Aviation Australia has Dual diploma program emphasizing on B1.1 and also B2 which is the Avionics part. Most the students that we sent enrol in the Dual Diploma program which is way cheaper than any university in UK.Added on March 15, 2010, 11:17 amDear students; We are commencing our recruitment again for Aviation Australia for their July intake. As you all know the places are limited, so please hurry up! Aviation Australia Business Development Manager, David Bentley will be in KL on 19th March which is on this Friday. If any of you would like to come for an interview and counselling session with us please do not hesitate to contact me at the details given below. Instant registration plus document processing is available. We provide counselling, document processing, placement, visa processing and many more services for students and also for the parents for free! Look forward to speak to you soon.
