why do you say so? i heard it's just over rated. besides, you get a diploma only. University of Glamorgan gets a degree plus a Easa. can you please support your answer with some facts?

QUOTE(git0926 @ Mar 14 2010, 12:46 PM) hi, my friend is taking A level too! by the way, wont you feel that studying A level is kind of wasted because studying aircraft maintenance doesnt even need any of tertiary education background? when are you finishing A level? and which school? |

QUOTE(IGHE Consultancy @ Mar 16 2010, 07:59 PM) TAME stands for Trainee Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and it is not a college. There are no race factor in becoming an LAME. All the colleges accept students from all ethnicities. I hope this helps. hi, what is the differences in the teaching syllabus between AA and MIAT? i dont see much differences in both school's syllabus. please correct me if i'm wrong. |

QUOTE(sherynchans @ Mar 19 2010, 12:58 PM) mind if i asking whether is that any condition to reduce frm 5 years work experience to 2 years? It is because even in Glamorgan Uni, they required us to pass all the EASA exams wihin 3 attempts and also 20 week of working experience before completing their Degree in Aircraft Maintenance and as well as to get the reduction of 3 years working experience. hi, where are you studying your course? And btw, im studying for Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance and planning to pursue degree. Can u provide me more info about the degree programme? |

QUOTE(JohnMax @ Mar 19 2010, 09:07 PM) Now still wondering that whether I can put in my OJT as my experience to cut down my five years... which school did you graduate from? and is it that after you have 5 years of experience, you can just obtain your EASA? is it difficult to obtain the license? What do you think? For me i think can, that what engineers told me. |

QUOTE(hakunamatata @ Mar 19 2010, 09:52 PM) If u can afford go to AA, why not? Is a part 147 school with very good facilities. thanks for answering my question, man. In order to get ur OJT experience counted in 2/5yrs required exp, u must completed the 13 modules 1st. Your OJT must be done in part-145 maintenance organisation or airlines. |
