Remember, to established as an LAE, you need to be TYPE RATED.
If you have only LWTR, either via EASA or BCAR, you're nothing yet. You have NO priviledges with LWTR alone. It would normally take around 5 years(minimum) to be established as an LAE/LAME. That 2 years you mentioned is the OJT requirements to get LWTR, not to be LAE just yet. QUOTE(LOREAL @ Mar 26 2010, 02:55 AM) I just read the thread before this....and i have a question !! AA as in AirAsia?
I know that EASA-66 Syllabus is being used for their ET (Engineering Trainee) Programme and with Aviation Australia (an approved part 147 Training Organization) the trainees will be getting their EASA license before conversion to DCA's AMEL. Your link is no good.. Error 404 Page not found. Agreed. Aviation Australia is an approved Part 147 Training Organization.
And its the only one outside EU. QUOTE(maryjane9996 @ Mar 28 2010, 05:20 PM) Sorry bro.. -.- AA for Aviation Australia.. here is the link.. http://www.easa.eu.int/ws_prod/c/doc/Org_A...SA_Part_147.pdf |

Gosh.. I think you better get back to basics and know the ABCs of EASA! Part 66 is The requirements a civil aircraft maintenance licence. While Part 147 is Training Organization requirements. Night and day difference? It is! I left out Part 145 intentionally.. QUOTE(thesun @ Mar 28 2010, 10:40 PM) This post has been edited by jazzy939: Mar 28 2010, 11:53 PM |

maybe because the place in miat is very limited..
keep in mind that not all malays who went for the interview got place in miat.. from what i heard, numbers of students applying keep increasing each intake..because miat is getting more popular.. not long time ago got the Perodua Alza outdoor crash test which was done at miat. i think that one indirectly boost the miat publicity also..
