how can i activate the build in gps?

its already activated. u need a GPS software ie Mapking or Garmin. its commercial ware

but i've already install the mapking,but it seem not working and cant detect the gps..

make sure its using com4 as yr gps port

and also update the quick GPS

Can i ask what is the main difference between iphone and touch pro?

Guys, I'm intending to get a HTC Touch Pro, but before I proceed, I would like to confirm few things. So I hope TP users here can guide me here.

1. Hows the ringtone volume? Loud enough if I put the TP inside my pocket together with a pouch?

2. For the speaker phone function, is it LOUD enough? Since I'm not using any handsfree while I'm driving, so this feature is quite important to me.

3. Now here is the most important part, the main reason I'm switching back to PDA phone is because I want to monitor my bank account quite frequently. So, can TP let me view my account @ maybank2u.com just like I'm viewing it at my notebook? Is it safe to do so? (sorry to ask such Q cause my online banking knowledge is very limited)

4. How is the picture quality taken from the 3.2mp auto-focus camera? Let say compare with SE K810i?

is that possible to share internet connection from office or home network by connecting through pc via usb cable?

i'd read somewhere that 'internet sharing' feature in TP is just only to use our TP as a modem, but not to share internet connection from other devices..

any guides?

as long as you can get your phone to sync with activesync you should be able to access the internet from ur TP

1. if ur office/home got internet connection u connect ur TP using usb u can surf the web in ur TP

2. if when u connect TP to ur PC via usb cable and choose internet sharing then ur PC will get the internet connection

3. yes its safe to do so if yr using a secure wifi connection like at home not at starbucks or somethin (free wifi)

4. the quality is not as good surely esp night shots (as k810 has a better flash too)
