Is it suppose to lock the screen and even the 4 hardware buttons? (Home, Back, Answer, Reject button)

2nd question... there's an option to LockTouchPanelOnly if I check that is it suppose to just lock the screen and not the hardware buttons? If it is then its not working, I check that box but still can't answer the phone.

1. if ur office/home got internet connection u connect ur TP using usb u can surf the web in ur TP

2. if when u connect TP to ur PC via usb cable and choose internet sharing then ur PC will get the internet connection

1. when u connect to usb cable to ur TP make sure before that u installed activesync then also make sure choose activesnyc in TP when choose the which type of connection u want to connect to. then on pc click on microsoft activesync go file-connection setting then set this computer is connected to the internet. then for sure u can surf web on TP

2. make sure ur service provider internet setting is already set, the TP will auto detect and auto set up ur internet setting. then follow the step i told before then on TP u will see h or 3g or e or g on the line bar.

some of my game is not shown in the programme shortcut ... so i need to open file explorer n go to launch the application ...

that is call ce-star..u can find in ur box cd and install it and remember to key in the serial key

first u create the shortcut for the game u want the exe...then paste to the windows\start menu \programs then paste inside then u will see the shortcut in the program menu

HTC has just release a new official rom update for TP !

Improved Functions and Fixes

1. The display of TouchFLO 3D sometimes may appear cracked.

2. When taking a picture, the auto focus function may malfunction in some circumstances.

3. In some circumstances, the preview screen will become black after taking picture.

4. In some circumstances, the device may hang while loading TouchFLO 3D.

5. When hanging up a phone call, there may be a delay in the display response.

i wanted to download the ''HTC Touch Pro ROM update Release Date: 2009-02-16''  , to download this i'm required to key in the serial number, but when i click submit, i a statement prompted out "Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device. "

what does it mean? my htc model according to my box is HTC Touch Pro T7272, anything wrong with my HTC? blush.gif

using registry editor

for the 4x4 icon
In HKLM\Software \ Microsoft \ Shell \ Add a New Key and named it "IconConfig"

In there add DWORD Value:

"HorizontalIconSpacing" Decimal value = 112
"VerticalIconSpacing" Decimal value = 115
"IconTitleFontSize" Decimal value = 6

for not showing sim contact


HKEY_CURRENT_USER>ControlPanel>Phone> ShowSim change to 0
