celcom config not sure

for mp3 ringtone jus go settings>sound>advanced>notifications>incoming call> change to yr mp3 file

u mean at the event:then scroll down find my mp3 list..........coz i cant find my mp3 in there theres only activesync,con disconnect ect,
i tot we suppose to look at ring tone

there is a wizard in your phone. it will auto detect telco setting. i forgot where is it oledi. sorry

jus go to settings>personal>sounds and notifications

change incoming call ring tone ok?

why do u need to slide out ur kboard while driving?

FIRSTLY

You have to place your mp3 file in the root folder. Either /windows (not recommended)

or /storage card. IT CANNOT BE IN /STORAGECARD/FOLDER NAME

it MUST be /Storage card

meaning it will be something like this

/storage card/BaronicRocks.mp3

messy, but thats how it works.


ALTERNATIVELY, place the song in /My Device/ My documents/ My RIngtones

U can also try placing it in /storagecard/my documents/ my ringtones (create a new folder if it doesnt exist)

it SHOULD work, but i never try before, i malas, i just place in /storage card lol

1. How long can the TP battery last if say I use it for normal receiving and making calls, sms and maybe 5-10 times to log into my MBB to view my account status?

2. Can the TP view & type CHINESE sms without any 3rd party software? If no, is there any 3rd party software that allow to do so?

3. If I buy a 2nd hand unit, can I extend the warranty period of that unit from HTC Malaysia? If yes, how much I need to pay?

4. Lets say if I browse maybank2u.com from TP, is the size of the webpage same with I browse it from my notebook? (I ask this because I'm considering which data plan I should choose)

Quick one... any of you having problems with ur 3G video calls with Maxis?
I can't seem to get mine to work.

I tried doing the connection setup again using MY MAXIS and MY MAXIS 3G both also not working but sending MMS and internet access is okay.

I also tried the Dopod D810 posted by oldnewspaper I think... but also same thing.

Any of you guys having problems? If all working fine, mind to share your configurations for Maxis?

@halu_cf, your wmv file is probably too big (the resolution) try converting it into something smaller

@alvino, i cant think of anything else u can do already, but have u tried calling maxis and find out if your 3G and video call are activated? mms and 3G are diff stuff.

1. what is your "normal" receiving calls. it depends. on a lot of stuff. but safe to say u shud charge every night
2. no, cannot, u need CE star, which comes with it if u buy ori brand new stuff
3. second hand is second hand, u cannot purchase a warranty like that as far as i know
4. yes its the same. u definitely need a data plan, unlimited, else you're screwed upside down when u see the bill
