yeah.been loyal to my touch pro for years now.just because i'm not a fan of fully touch screen phone & prefer htc qwerty phones.havent yet fancy any newer models from htc with qwerty to upgrade yet.before using my touch pro i used htc tytyn/838 pro.
now using winmo 6.5 energy rom & android Froyo B - VER 4.
anyone else using android on their TP out there?
which version & how do u rate it?
mine works great but with 3g on tends to be a battery hog

the thread is practically dead...i think i should go to newer phones already....

btw, who is still using touch pro, or any WM6.x on their windows vista/7?
how do you all sync with it? It seems that windows vista/7 dont have outlook express anymore, unless we go for the full fledge outlook which cost a few hundred bucks..

yea btw u can sync ol by using FUNAMBOL Portal. just download the app. & works thru windows mobile device center. great to transfer all my contacts, data & anything else from my winmo OS to android.

I'm using Android on my Touch Pro. Running this Gingerbread rom.

EDIT: It's not really a ROM right? Since it needs to be booted from a microSD, instead of flashing it.

Everything works except GPS and Bluetooth. I can live without them, and I'm happy with it. Totally not using WinMo anymore. Downside is, the battery life on my Touch Pro is still as bad. Normal use can last for about 10 hours only.

It's not emulator...just through a file called haret.exe. When you run it in WinMo, it forces WinMo to shutdown and boots Android after that.

With everything turned off except Wi-Fi, and with JuiceDefender installed and enabled in Aggressive mode, I managed about 12 hours on my Android 2.2 on Touch Pro.

Mine is laggy at times, especially when I'm installing new apps. Other times it's just fine. I'm pretty sure it's due to the microSDHC, because you're running Android directly off the microSDHC instead of from the ROM itself.

Btw, I have a SanDisk 16GB class 4 microSDHC, and the lagginess isn't that much if I'm not installing any app. However, the people at xda-developers recommend at least a class 6 microSDHC.
