What is the best software to stream movies from your PC to the PS3? Tversity, Nero Mediahome or TwonkyMedia?

this problem just happened recently, i have been using it with my ps3 a month b4 it happened, and my hdmi cable aint gold plated, it was the normal cable, so u suggest that normal cable easily spoilt?
*
Gold plated or not doesn't make a difference. A silver plated and gold plated HDMI is basically just gimmicks, in actual sense a gold-plated HDMI cable that you buy for RM30 is basically just colored in gold. Only "high-end" HDMI cables like the ones from Monster are really gold plated which doesn't even make a bloody difference in picture quality anyways.

Perhaps you could try meddling with the settings on your monitor, I doubt getting another cable would solve your problem.

Damaged ribbon on the on/off power sensor probably.
Isn't too hard to fix really, go get it checked.

I can still turn my PS3 on by using the power button, but can't turn it off using that same button.
If ribbon problem, I can't turn it on using that button either right? unsure.gif

Hi guys, just purchased a PS3 this evening and am trying to register its warranty. Apparently the extended warranty no longer offered according to this site : http://mysony.sony.com.my/WarrantyPeriod/warrantyperiod.htm

Any idea guys?

last time i used usb capture card

but can only use composite or svideo

and i play on comp screen at the same time recording the feed.

you can connect the ps3 directly to camcorder input (normally svideo/composite) and record directly. if the camcorder supports pass-through, you can resend the signal to tv for larger screens while recording the video. if not, you may have to play through the camcorder's small screen.

Where to buy capture card? Thanks in advance.

But there's a card inside saying that if I register as a MySony member, I get another 3 months warranty. Hmm.

I got the Sony MY set, 80 GB, black. smile.gif

You may also try Toast Titanium... I prefer to store all my movies and audio on NAS and leave the PC managing other processes.

eh then can we buy the prepaid cards from the shops here ? I heard its much harder than getting the Xbox live prepaid coupons.

but then as long as can play online multiplayer for free, then no need to spend extra on PSN also ok hmm.gif
