1 question,

Can I charge the PS3's controller while the console is on standby mode (the LED is red). I connected my controller in standby mode and it doesn't look like it's charging the controller at all.

No you cannot charge your controller when your PS3 is in standby.

Why not just connect it to your PC instead.

The PC is in my room. So abit paiseh to carry the controller to my room every time I need to charge it. sweat.gif
Nevermind, I'll just charge it on my Xbox 360 then. +_+;

why dun you charge it while you play? just go get the USB extension cable if its too close to tv. its like rm5-7 for like a 1.5 meter i think.
*
Haha, because if I charge while playing, it'll feel so last-gen already (wired controller). tongue.gif
So I will usually charge only after I'm done or if the battery ran out while playing.

By the way, how long does the battery last? From my observation, my controller battery meter will go from full bar -> 1/3 bar in just a day (with less than 10 hours usage on that day). rclxub.gif

I don't know why, for some reason I can't turn off my PS3 using the power button (the one next to disc eject) anymore.

The only way for me to turn it off is by selecting "Turn Off System" in the PS button menu. sad.gif

Damaged ribbon on the on/off power sensor probably.
Isn't too hard to fix really, go get it checked.
*
I can still turn my PS3 on by using the power button, but can't turn it off using that same button.
If ribbon problem, I can't turn it on using that button either right? unsure.gif

Axis controller? You mean Sixaxis? Sixaxis does not support vibration, only Dual Shock 3 supports vibration.

Guys,

I got 1 question to ask. Does every brand new sealed PS3 games come with the stripe / seal with "Playstation" written on it like this one?

user posted image

The reason I asked is because I bought some games from one of the shop thread here, and the games are supposedly brand new. Some of the game come with the strip and some don't. I suspect the one that don't have the strip are used game that are resealed by the seller and was sold to me as brand new.

Only Konami game? I have bought > 10 games so far and IIRC, all of them have that stripe.

So confirm that the stripe is not available on all games? unsure.gif

All R1 packaging has the PLAYSTATION 3 seal on the bottom, this is a must. SCEA policy, no way out of it
2 of the game that I bought was R1, and it didn't have the Playstation seal / stripe. sad.gif
