get from shop la. Go to SONY style, they are more sincere with the sales. I get "REAL" 0% installment from SONY style. Other SONY like sony center will add up 3-4% on top of the price

You want absolute best quality, the official Bluetooth headset is the way to go.
The PS3 eye is okay, not too bad. Suffers from being the voice being too soft though.

I don't know why, for some reason I can't turn off my PS3 using the power button (the one next to disc eject) anymore.

The only way for me to turn it off is by selecting "Turn Off System" in the PS button menu. sad.gif

Headset of course.
Although if you use a stand Mic or a webcam, voices will come out through your speakers instead.

Damaged ribbon on the on/off power sensor probably.
Isn't too hard to fix really, go get it checked.

I've forgotten where but yesterday I saw someone mention Motorola BT headsets have no problem connecting with the PS3. I tried pairing mine but the console is having problem detecting it...am I doing it the wrong way?

-Settings
-Accessories
-Audio device settings
-bluetooth or USB headset

hi guys, i tried what yall told me to do, but there is still no display, my lcd only detected the HDMI cable as 576p, not 1080p... does it means that the problem here is the hdmi cable itself? or the hdmi slot in either ps3 or my lcd?

weird, I just started using that early this week...got a gold plated HDMI cable from arj and it straight away went to 1080p no prob. This problem seems random though...someone mentioned once using that same monitor but could only fix 720p max.

Could it be the cable problem? Is yours gold plated?

I am not able to display via HDMI to DVI on my samsung 17"... strange, but I get it to work on a viewsonic HD widescreen 22"... is there a different type of DVI input monitors that PS3 can support?

Your Samsung 17" most probably isn't HDCP compliant.

some restrictions are within the monitor itself

some computers cant receive non-standard resolutions (like 16:10 monitors cant receive 16:9 signals, etc)

and it must support hdcp in order to use hdmi -> dvi adapter. not all dvi-equipped monitor supports hdcp (most do support though).

but hdmi-equipped displays must support hdcp (it is a requirement for hdmi standards)
