thats not an LED. thats a light sensitive something something. damn, forgot my form 4 physics. cant remember the correct name

anyway, what it does is it detects the lighting condition arounds u so that it changes screen brightness automatically (enabled by default, can disable)

If you're in bright area, the screen will be made brighter, while in dark area screen will be dimmer

Then, i transfered a few files over to My Documents -> My Programs folder but when i disconnect, i cant seem to locate the folder via the File Explorer. Any idea where will the file be located?

Does HTC support the Moto S605..?

"The Motorola Bluetooth® Stereo Headset with FM Radio S605 packs incredible functionality in a stylish package. Stream music from any brand of compatible Bluetooth® stereo phone or music device (MP3 player, iPod) that supports Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) and Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP)."

shumaky

bruce07

You're also recommended to unregister from 3G services on your phone co if you don't use them. My Diamond lasted 1.75 days on standby and usage before going to 0. Without 3G.

With 3G it was half (0.8 of a day).

Chill out bro... dont need so frustrated biggrin.gif

Btw, my TD also 3G enabled. But I still can use > 1.5 days per charge (with default battery).

From what I read and my understanding,
1. different radio version does also impact on the battery usage.
2. if got some application running on background with high CPU usage will also causing the battery to drains fast. Not just 3G3G3G doh.gif

//bruce07:
PDA e*****t sometime not that expert at all.
They installed alot useless applications that might not very useful for u (might running at background) and eats alot CPU usage which will cause ur battery drain faster than normal ppl.

Btw, I found another was to overcome the 3G3G3G issue that mentioned by X.E.D
WMLongLife by Chainfire: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=478519
This application will automatically help u to switch over 3G network when u're web browsing etc activities, and switch back to 2G network mode when ur screen goes off/idle.

Don't just terminate ur 3G service blindly because u never know when u'll need it urgently. This is just MHO. thumbup.gif

Hope these information helps.

Nice app there!
However, I don't think CPU usage affects battery that much compared to radio mode.

Watching TV episodes, gaming and playing audio in HTC audio manager (TF3D) still gave me ample batt life compared to 3G. I'm not entirely sure of this one, but I swear the phone also ran slightly cooler (just mildly warm, no biggie at all)

The Auto 3G toggle in some TF3D versions (presumably ported from newer ones) doesn't work properly either, so I said screw it and turned it off once and for all. Not the best choice but I can live with it until I take a proper postpaid plan with Singtel. (The 3G problems weren't just battery life too; with 3G detected and the Diamond hopping onto that network, reception was horrendous and some times it kept switching back and forth.)

Of course if you DO use 3G like in Celcom or Maxis' unlimited plans, you should def keep it. I initially registered on just to see how Maxis coverage was in Melaka (ugh), but at the end it kept sapping power quite badly. Plus, per-use charges are really horrendous, that I wouldn't dare to use it either, lol.

Will try 1.1+ Radios later on, see if there's any change. Used 1.09 mainly because that was the general consensus' favorite.

Oh, and the 900mAh battery itself needs some buttkicking, too. Considering Mugen Power's 2000 batteries.

I read from xda thread mentioned that 1.1+ sucks battery pretty fast... IMO, better stick with 1.09 while waiting for a better radio.

not very sure whats the exe used for. But I found this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...736&postcount=2

Its an OEMDrivers package from HTC?

Normally, I just disabled that error reporting. Kinda ignoring if it kept prompting out.

I dont know what happened but was pretty much sure i looked everywhere via the file explorer and couldnt find the files. Then, i switched off my phone and turn it back on again but this time, i saw the Internal Storage option on file explorer and its there. I kinda confirmed i didnt see the Internal Storage option previously though. Weird.

Anyway, another problem here. I downloaded a couple of TF3D themes from XDA and installed those cab files. Now, i dont know how to switch back the themes to the original one. The theme i downloaded, only switches the bottom bar thing of the TF3D. Current theme is already set to HTC Black but cant seem to get the original bar back. Any help?

Besides, tried the CleanRAM thing and i kinda liked it. There is no need to soft reset the TD anymore but still, its kinda weird. It really does help in releasing the memory leak problem but the usage kinda go back up quite fast as compared to soft reset.

try TF3D Customiser tool from xda, it will restore back to default skin.
