Screenshot 2 is actually the WM6.5 lock screen.


It's also easier to lock the phone now, no need to hold end-call for a long time (just go to honeycomb and left softkey)


Actually, using the native WinMo 6.5 Titanium home screen, RAM usage is about 55%, which is really nice. But I miss TF3D too much. xD

Last screen is the new 6.5 Facebook app. It is leaked for normal 6.1 usage, so if you're a FB whore you can find it on most major PPC news sites.

lol, well i'm torn between the honeycomb, TP2's TF3D (many new interesting functions, there is a beta build available in XDA) and SPB Mobile Shell 3, out end of March

Hmm... Mobile Shell 3 has the sexiest animations, but the design needs some work (Times New Roman font wtf)

TF3D v3 is really a nice app, look forward to using it, but I really want more than 18 appliction slots (which they probably won't change unless they did so on the Touch HD version)

WM6.5's Titanium homescreen and honeycomb are still atrociously slow and laggy relative to those 2 up there, but the design is indeed an impressive step up from what you consider a MS product. Hopefully it's just the betaness that's causing all this.


Oh, and Sprite Terminator sounds like a fantastic app. GPS tracking for those who steal my phone?

You need to setup the GPS to be on COM4 instead. I am sure you will find the settings in the option screen.

For theft prevention i prefer Ultimate Theft Alert. IMHO the best anti theft software.

Well, i have Gyrator in my TD and i kinda like it, at first. It does the job when i need the landscape view etc but to be honest, after a while, its kinda irratating when it rotates at the slightest touch. If there is an option to just rotate at certain screen like during SMS etc, that will be good but it rotates everywhere. During call, during menu, during gaming etc. Never tried g sens before though.

Hi ! I tried both, and not really used to it.
i would say Gyrator is better, because u get a more friendly UI to tweak.
but i usually don use it , coz it will rotate the screen when i lock the phone.
and when I answer a call, everything will go wrong..

Yea, thats the same problem i had been getting from the Gyrator and that is why i dont really use it at the moment. It comes in handy at times, like landscape SMS but goes terribly wrong more often than not. Goes landscape during call, receiving calls, playing games, and even when you are adjusting the volume and at times, the menu itself as well. I rather sacrifice the landscape SMS than all the other problems that occur.

Wipe data clean if PIN entered wrongly for too many times.

Track location of phone through GPS

Remote wipe using SMS sending

etc.



BTW I realized the stupid nasty 3G Radio was why my battery life sucked ass. Once 3G is off I'm getting 2X+ the life!

1. my TD LED is not blinking since i bought. Ori SIS. still in warranty, bought couple of weeks ago. Is it standard?

Which LED? The one on the round thing on the keypad? Mine is blinking during charging though if you are talking about that. If it is not working, then you can send it for warranty.

i found it nicer to use and easier to use as well. can do manual setting to whichever app can rotate or to which direction a specific app can rotate. i'm using it and quite happy with it. cheerss...

the circle on the keypad is working. the thing i meant is LED on the top next to speaker..the LEd has no flash at all. be it during active or standby...

That is a light ambience sensor (or something like that) that will auto dim or brighten your screen in case of dark/bright lights. So, no, its not an led.

wow, this app seems kinda nice, will try out and see how it works!

haha, if Diamond has LED, then my pictures won't be so dark!
