i am planning to purchase the htc touch diamond in a weeks time. after doing some research i learned that it does not come with a memory slot. as i am in the medical profession i have to install a 3rd party medical application on it called "UpToDate". the usual process i employ to install it on my previous pda (as per the accompanying instruction) is to connect my memory card reader to my pc and then install the data files onto the card. subsequently i will slot the card into my pda and then install the software onto the pda using Activesync.
since the diamond does not have a slot let alone a memory card, how do i install the program? this application is extremely important for my work and i cannot do without it! help please :

u use the exact same method. Connect wire to handphone, and connect handphone to PC. The PDA will then prompt to be active sync-ed, used as a modem, or use as a storage.

In storage mode it essentially turns itself into a 4GB thumb drive. Transfer cab files, disconnect, run files and install

Call me a noob but is that usable on the TD? Any links to that?

ops sorry, thats for Touch Pro. i'm sure there are some beta roms for TD as well though.

but u can buy extended batteries for this device

whether it is an issue or not would depend on your usage

1. When you launch the Camera while the system is working on other programs, the preview screen may become black.

2. When playing a video, sometimes a portion of the video will be cut off a little bit.

I just found out something wrong with my navigation key man!!

It does not as responsive as I expected... ( Well, I just discover recently ).... Whenever I press the make left ( the answer call button ) it does not respond properly... and it go press left button pulak.... is it something wrong with it?

One more stupid question, is one screen protector will affect, like a lot , on touch screen? my TD is some sort not respond to touch when I use my finger to type sms, on the normal phone-alike keypad.... I have to tap again then the character only can input =.= tedious...

I'm not blaming the performance of TD... ^^ Just curious about the two matter above....

I can boil egg using my TD after 1hour call! Cool!

Exactly!? I actually upgraded my TD to that latest version of 2.03. Are you guys saying that they now have yet another new ROM to address some issues not rectified by the v2.03? Or, is the new ROM mentioned here an overseas and not local SiS one?
