Hi, I am relatively new to LYN and most definitely a newbie to this thread.

Have owned a Diamond since end of last year but because I am not tech savvy dare not do anything to it. Have however gone into forums like xda-developers to read and find out what can be done to our beloved Diamond. Noticed you guys here are pretty helpful, so need assistance.

The only thing I want in my Diamond is the G-Sensor or Gyrator application which will give me landscape keying of messages and of course some games which require that. So, has anyone done that to their Diamond and if so, are there inherent problems? If not, can someone physically help do that for my Diamond? Read however that it may affect the performance of the phone as it is not stable or is it already?

Help from those Si-Fus is appreciated. TQ.

Thanks booooster, you have been helpful but at the risk of sounding like a fool, I have mentioned before I am not tech savvy and thus dare not even venture into it for fear of bricking my phone.

There's a phone repair shop on the floor where the IT section is in Sg Wang. They seem to know what they are doing insofar as mobile phones are concerned. Not sure about PDA phones. It's worth a try checking them out. They are located in one of the corridors at the back.

Added on February 24, 2009, 12:12 amI don't think DiGi has that promo anymore unless they restarted it as 3 weeks ago when I was in one of their outlets, was told they stopped that.

The prices you mentioned, are they for SiS Malaysia, AP or S'pore TDs?

Exactly!? I actually upgraded my TD to that latest version of 2.03. Are you guys saying that they now have yet another new ROM to address some issues not rectified by the v2.03? Or, is the new ROM mentioned here an overseas and not local SiS one?

Thanks, bro booooster. I actually wrote to SiS earlier enquiring about it. So, is the ROM mentioned for Singapore or other overseas market? If so, why are they getting it later than us?

SiS Malaysia has repied me confirming that 2.03 is the latest official ROM here.

Did you do the upgrading yourself?

My unit is under warranty and because I am not tech savvy at all and not very adventurous with it, I always bring it to SiS to do my bidding for me. As for your point no. 1, it is now a default feature and cannot be deleted.

As far as my phone goes, there is no problem at all. Could it be because of the G-Sensor that you installed which caused the problems? That's my reservation about installing though I would like very much to have it.

The other sifus will probably be able to provide some solutions for you. Good luck.
