I also facing the same problem as yours before. At that time, I just bought my HTC Touch Diamond.
On the same day, after finish charging it, it can't be turn on. Then I try re-charging, it also fail to charge.
Finally I sent it back to my supplier for warranty. Kinda disappointed with it

There's a phone repair shop on the floor where the IT section is in Sg Wang. They seem to know what they are doing insofar as mobile phones are concerned. Not sure about PDA phones. It's worth a try checking them out. They are located in one of the corridors at the back.
