i know that there is now windows mobile 6.5
can it be installed in diamond?

what is ROM?
it's the user interface thing? or is the OS thing?

yea, what is the 2nd hanf price of a diamond now?

There are unofficial WM6.5 ROMs, largely available at xda-developers.

ROM may contain bootloader, OS, radio ROM or all of them at once.

may i ask, how do i save my sms into my outlook ah?

Wow, you could? I tried everything i could but to no avail. What i do was, download the Vista 64bit's Active Sync program, connect the phone, does exactly everything that is asked. All passed fine. Until the step where they asked u to install the driver for HTC USB SYNC. That completed fine as well but requested a restart (with the TD in Bootloader mode). Computer restarted, but showed "unknown hardware found". On that point onwards, i could not detect the TD anymore. Any idea how you gone through that part?

WM6.5 is Unofficailly available, as said by mengsuan at XDA-developers. Head over there and have a look at some of them that is available. Not exact perfect ROM but at least better than WM6.1 to me. For features, i recommend EnergyROM. For stability and better performance, BsB works fine for me thus far

Activesync (XP) or Windows Mobile Device Center (Vista/7). Select Contacts to be synchronized and it will go into Outlook.

now i upgrade to WM6.5 already coz i cant forward or reply sms, once click the new sms, just a white screen come out, anyone know why ah?

If I'm not mistaken USB Faulty, could be your TD sync cable or the your TD USB joint, Clean the contact of your cable, the TD USB Joint, Your PC USB Joint and delete the old TD Unknown USB driver and try again.

As what I can say only today I've flashed my TD 5 times with my Windows 7 Ultimate Edition x64. For my side here when I 1st plug in my TD to my PC windows 7 will look for driver for the generic USB Sync driver for my TD and right after that windows update available for update and the update was Windows Mobile Device Center and after updated the Windows Mobile Device Center, Windows will update another 3 more drivers for my TD, after when it was sync with my PC I flash it and my TD Off itself and switch to USB Flashing mode and my Windows will search for another USB Flash Driver for my TD and soon after that my TD screen will change to Flashing indicator and Windows stared to flash.

Wow..Thats alot of stuff.

Maybe going to try it again this weekend and see whether it works or not. I am pretty sure there is no problem with the USB. I used the same cable (which came along with my TD for the charger) for many times, including with Vista and it works perfectly. Probably need to reupdate again and see whether it works or not. Thanks again.

i try the WM6.5 already but now space still have 10MB for program, i cant run other program liao especially the camera.

First of all, which version of WM6.5 are you running?

By any chance anyone tried out the latest WM6.5 ROM from EnergyROM? How good is it and how memory hungry the latest version is? Gonna do reflashing by this weekend and pondering upon sticking with BsB or moving away to EnergyROM for a while. And do anyone knows how can we get back Video Call on the TD? Since i flash it, i cant find the option back again.

above is a standard settings for all diamond unless you are using cook rom doesnt come with TF3D.

i also forget which version liao. very sorry.

If performance is an issue, find one that is a clean ROM without any extra softwares installed. I only tested BsB ROM thus far. Very very good for me. Find out those available ones in XDA and test it out yourself

sifu, i download the BsB WM6.5.1 version, but how to install it ah?, i download is the zip file, unzip it already then i copy inside the internal storage but cannot install it, how? thanks

its not zip, its a cab file. just copy paste the cab file into your diamond then execute the instllation from your devices.
