i'm wondering how to create folder and move the short cut icons into a folder?
i'm using BSB btw

File Explorer allow you to create folder directly. I am pretty sure you can use File Explorer to cut the shortcut and paste it into the folder. Whether or not the shortcut will function after that, i have no idea

File Explorer i believe, can be found in Tools --> File Explorer.

Do i need to reinstall garmin after i flash new roms to my TD? Which radios for diamond is the most stable so far?

if i'm not mistaken, when u r hard reseting the device, u can choose the second option which will wipe the internal storage too. forgot d..O.o

i'm using the radio 1.17.25.09 of blackstone, it's very nice, but u need SU it. Security unlock. u can search in diamond ROm dev there. =)

Well, i guess no one can tell you which radio is good or bad. Its basically trial and error. I am currently on 1.11 and its so far had been stable for me, on both BsB and EnergyROM. Used to be on 1.09 but always had signal drop out.

Well, that option used to be there when i am on BsB or the Original ROM. However, after shifting to EnergyROM, it only allows me to flash the memory, not the internal storage.

akachester.. can u post me the link to download the 1.11 radio? I Cant seem to find it on Xda >.< .. thx in advance.. Somemore what is MTTY? coz some roms before flashing u need to do tat first? I only know Hard Spl .. dunno wat is MTTY... help from all Sifus here much appreciate

I have to use the task manager to end task it. When I click close, WMP is not actually close. It's just minimized.

MTTY is basically the program that is used to flash your phone. Previously, all we did was just placing the ROM image into the internal storage and flash it directly. However, doing it that way had proven to cause some problem. Thus, flashing with MTTY is better and safer.

Thus, from the link that i had provided you previously, when you finish Step C, just stop, and proceed to the MTTY thread to read on the ways to flash your ROM.

Waaa MTTY so confusing.. MTTY flashing through system is safer? i will try it tonight to see how things works.. god bless me.. btw i using Windows 7.. got any problem flashing through Windows 7 32 bit ?

No problem. Just follow exactly what is recommended at that thread for MTTY. Basically, its only confusing when you are installing the drivers for the first time. Again, if you read the first few post carefully, and follow each step properly, then it will be fine. Using MTTY are not that complicated, if you know what to do. Basically, all you do is open up MTTY, type a couple of sentence and you are already flashing the phone

when typing the command in MTTY, do not copy, paste, enter
it will not work
you have to type and enter

i installed Garmin XT mobile
installed map from malfreemaps
but my diamond like cannot detect GPS signal at all
i already run the application to download sat satellite signal

what am i missing?

anyone of you actually have difficulties in locking your phone?

I mean,

Long press End Key (Red) to lock the screen.

I cant manage to lock the screen as whenever i press the end key, it jumps to another manila tab- the same condition as i press > at the navigation pad- any idea?

Please help or should I send it to RMA??

Set the GPS COM PORT to COMM4. Go into the Settings in GarminXT and setup the GPS Port. TD's default GPS port is COMM4.

Did you actually set the Long End Key as locking the screen? Another way to lock it is to click on the Start button, and there will be a LOCK option at the bottom left corner.

i wan to ask something about the rom flashing
i've studied about the process of flashing a custom rom
but i have a question in mind is that
am i still able to restore to the original rom if i get tired with all these stuff?

Yes you can. Exact ways, you gotta ask the experts out there. Someone like baronic or Aavatar AFAIK, you need to undo HardSPL and then flash it back to original ROM.

Just flashed to the latest EnergyROM WM6.5 (Not WM6.5.3) with Sense2.1. So far, everything seems very smooth even with memory idling at 75%. Lets see how good this is compared to TF3D

i using gen.y rom with sense 2.1 and WM 6.1.. i cant find the energy rom u mention WM 6.5 with sense 2.1.. can link me to for it?

by pressing the power button once it will lock your phone too

the BSB 6.5.1G is like having bugs with it's application
1st, the favorite people just stop working all of a sudden. it said missing something.
after that, i can't edit the main screen anymore using the CHome editor.
problem comes back after hard reset and used for few days..

lazy to flash anymore. a lot of things need to install/ set after flash again...

Realised i couldn't even run YouTube on EnergyROM Titanium WM6.5.3. Crazy. It says insufficient memory. Guess probably its time for me to switch back to BsB

akachester, the stable in 75% is equal to Program Free ??.??mb? Thanks, been a while didn't flash my TD.
