Do you bother to read the posts after you have posted a query to check whether anyone has given an answer? If you do, you would know that I have tried to point you to the people who sell what you are looking for here!

You know, I did something silly blush.gif  I bought SGP ultra thin high gloss casing (waiting for delivery) and it comes with Steinheil Crystal and Anti-Fingerprint screen protectors.

I just realised that these two are different types and we actually choose only one to use sleep.gif (I thought we use them together, yikes!)

I'm just wondering.........which one would you guys pick or do you know of which one's the better overall? Really appreciate some opinions here. By the way, I read somewhere that screen protectors have to be static-cling so it doesn't spoil the oleophobic screen we have on our phone when we remove them. So, do most of those that you have has this trait?

I actually did the exactly same mistake as you luckily the TS clarify with me on that. Would someone kindly give some review between this two type please? Pros and cons are much appreciated.

Hi guys. Like to get some opinion or experience from others.

I'm about to send in my new iphone 3gs for warranty. cry.gif Stupid screen is showing an inverted/reverse/negative color on the screen and it has got nothing to do with the setting of "white on black".

Before I do that, I've already purchased an anti-glare protective film and it feels like such a waste and it wasn't cheap since its only been stuck for 3 das. So it is possible for me to re-use it? ie take it out and keep it somewhere to reapply when(hopefully it doesn't take that long) I get my replacement?

@nrewq,
I don't think those stuff are reusable but U could always try. The only thing is, U will need to make sure it's kept proper so no dust gets stuck to it.

PS: Do U know how long U'll haf to wait till U get ur new phone?

No idea. Going to bring it to the maxis centre later today. If I'm not wrong, I read somewhere that the replacement unit is normally a refurbished unit and not brand new? Cos if that is the case, that would really sux. No idea if I'm going to get charged as well for any warranty claim which will only add salt to the wound.

@nrewq,
U shouldn't have to pay a single cent for the warranty claim you're making; if Maxis charges U $ for that, make helluva noise to create a situation ! biggrin.gif

Yes replacement units are usually refurbished units but they're sorta like new. In fact, because this is a new product, those who's gone in for warranty claims usually get a brand new refurbished set *or at least that's what we like to think* biggrin.gif

Yeah I'm expecting they don't but hey this is Malaysia where anything is possible. In fact, they should compensate me! Having to waste a film and also emotional distress. tongue.gif

Hi guys, I am looking for a silicon case which doesn't adds too much bulk and won't block my fingers when I am scrolling thru the screen while playing games or doing normal stuff, currently I am looking at the iSkin Solo, any other recommendations?? And anybody use iSkin Solo before?? Isit any good??

So good to hear that you got clarification on it. By the way, I'm thinking to choose the Anti-Fingerprint over the Crystal...my logic is, we do need to always use our fingers to run through our screen...crystal clear won't do anything if we have smudges on it, hehe...but still deciding...like you, I need to know if there's any up or down to either types.

Hi, mai-K

Did you post something? Cuz my side's showing a blank space...

Yes I am sure. I gave it a try as well, turning it on and off and making sure it was off. When I did a screen capture, I could see from the camera roll that the screen capture was correct, ie showing a black backgroud. So makes me think that it is more hardware than software.

Nowadays, screen protectors especially those more costly ones are re-usable. All you need to do is wash them thoroughly before re-applying. In any event, they are now many cheap but good SPs in the market.

Available silicone cases available in the market presently are much like the iSkin Solo that you mentioned, the cutting, I mean. They have to have the sides covering the chrome so as to 'latch' on to the phone unlike some plastic or polycarbonate ones where it needs only to come up to the sides of the chrome bezel as they are tight and can 'clamp' on to the phone. The downside to this is it will scratch the chrome bezel.
