Hi guys. Like to get some opinion or experience from others. I'm about to send in my new iphone 3gs for warranty.  Stupid screen is showing an inverted/reverse/negative color on the screen and it has got nothing to do with the setting of "white on black". Before I do that, I've already purchased an anti-glare protective film and it feels like such a waste and it wasn't cheap since its only been stuck for 3 das. So it is possible for me to re-use it? ie take it out and keep it somewhere to reapply when(hopefully it doesn't take that long) I get my replacement? |

Yes replacement units are usually refurbished units but they're sorta like new. In fact, because this is a new product, those who's gone in for warranty claims usually get a brand new refurbished set *or at least that's what we like to think* Yeah I'm expecting they don't but hey this is Malaysia where anything is possible. In fact, they should compensate me! Having to waste a film and also emotional distress.  |

Yes I am sure. I gave it a try as well, turning it on and off and making sure it was off. When I did a screen capture, I could see from the camera roll that the screen capture was correct, ie showing a black backgroud. So makes me think that it is more hardware than software. |

Update: I brought my iphone in yesterday and they told me i would get my replacement latest Mon/Tues. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed. According to the maxis cs, the shipment for warranty replacement units arrived at singapore apple yesterday. |
