hi to all fd 2.0 owner here
am planning to buy this model in the near future but, heard lots of stories saying this civic model might be having a few issues (knocking and rattling sound) so..any problems i should expect/know before placing my deposit? if the probs are tolerable i might continue with my plan and if not, might consider mazda 3 thanks a bunch! |

QUOTE(AlphaBeta @ Jun 2 2010, 07:19 PM) change the whole exhaust system, change intake to mushroom filter, change piston, crank shaft...many more.. The best is still changing the whole engine. This definitely will void ur warranty..u know..they sure blame this and that. =.=" better change the whole car then |

QUOTE(illiumiskum @ Jun 2 2010, 10:06 PM) hi to all fd 2.0 owner here Honestly, I would believe this comes down to pure luck. Every car has problem, some unexpectedly bad and some not as bad as others, some very minimal. As for mine, it's totally fine am planning to buy this model in the near future but, heard lots of stories saying this civic model might be having a few issues (knocking and rattling sound) so..any problems i should expect/know before placing my deposit? if the probs are tolerable i might continue with my plan and if not, might consider mazda 3 thanks a bunch! |

QUOTE(jumajuma @ Jun 3 2010, 10:09 AM) Actually, you don't have to lose the deposit la. Just talk to SA or Sales Manager or even the owner of the showroom to get back. Should be no prob one. Civic is a hot model, so doesn't affect them so much. Always they can find a next buyer who will be very thankful to receive car early. |

i dun mind to lose the deposit.. just i know someone out there is like me previously waiting for the car for such long.. i wait from march till now. Untill i lost interest to the civic..
i check the booking list earlier this month and saw white colour need to wait till sept already. i dont know what happen to honda until we need to wait for such long period.. even they have their own assembly plant here still cant ramp the production. Deep in my heart still hate the feeling when saw civic passing by... hehehe but no regret |

Dear '06 Civic owners, anyone kind to recommend me a good service workshop around Bandar Utama or Damansara area?
I just sent my wife's civic 1.8 for service interval at 75000km and the price was RM220 for semi synthetic oil, filter, coolant and alignment. Any suggestions for a better workshop which charges cheaper in future? thanks |
