try jump start 1st.. if the car can start, while on engine idle, unplug the negative terminal and wait if the engine stop..

if yes, its ur alternator hopefully.. if the engine still manage to idle, i think its maybe ur coil or plug..

goodluck..

If you say hard to start after few days of non driving ,maybe you should check your wiring, might be somewhere leaking current sucking your battery dry. Alarm? Usually is the alarm.

Bro,no point u asking here and straight away go change the parts to new one as we are jus giving u some idea.

First of all i suspect it's ur wiring.U can check ur wiring at some battery shop where they do provide wiring check-up.Don't waste ur money by replacing this and that just because u/shop guy suspect it could be the culprit.Makesure which part is the culprit and only replace that particular part.

i start 2 think its the current leak issue... Do you leave any switches on when you leave the car? This include aircond, ice or anything with switches... Other than that, check the wiring. Old wires tend 2 hv some resistance and with any switches left on, ur battery might be sucked out slowly...

how's the frequency you refill the fuel tank? do you wait till it's nearly empty? if that's so...it will put make fuel pump work harder and higher probability to fail...

well..she needs to change the fuel pump and costed her RM600 smile.gif

Well,
if you car crank well.... (don't la crank the car more than 5 minutes, energizer battery also die la LOL), normally starter and battery are good.

So, now prob is the ignition or fuel system.
-ignition can be: plug, plug cable, coil etc
-fuel system/fuel supply: fuel pump, injectors or AUTOCHOKE

*Last time my car when fuel pump weak/dying, even stop after a few hours also hard to start

*I know some Perdanas are battery eater if parked more a few days, not sure about EK, maybe your new ICE draining them?

air flow meter? Maybe try when starting- try pressing the gas pedal- Also check the fuel distributor.
