Signed up for U58 plan. How do you check how many minutes left of free calls?
Can we actually check our bills real time? xD |

QUOTE(digilife @ Dec 9 2012, 05:45 PM) How come they would reject because I'm using D'campus? Feel like a "waterfish" man, been paying so much for so long. I dint even have the birthday bonus and my complaints to them is always without a single reply. Pretty sure I'll ask my relatives and friends do the porting aswell as they been ranting on their poor services either. Time to change. Anyway, I received message from Umobile that my porting has been accepted and my SIM will be fully activated within an hour since 5.30pm but until now, it's still not activate yet. |

Hi,
i am using U mobile prepaid, in my mobile i selected GSM network, and the network provider shown U mobile, does this mean i am roaming on Maxis 2G ? Coz the call keep dropping, almost every call also drop half way talking, i don't have such problem on Maxis netowrk before port over to U mobile. Is GSM for U mobile will be always running on Maxis 2G ? |

QUOTE(Pan84 @ Sep 17 2012, 03:11 PM) Manual search network. Outside where no umobile signal will be roaming on maxis network. Some can auto registered to any network but some are not. When you used manual search network, you only able to found 3 network, where is DIGI, U Mobile (Roaming on MAXIS) and umobile2G (Roaming on Celcom but it seems failed to register the network or no more can roaming) BTW, currently roaming in Maxis network available for 2G or GPRS / Edge only. 3G is yet NOT READY for U Mobile user. Seems have to wait longer before it available to roaming. This is 2 months ago, but is anyone able to receive 3G maxis on umobile now? I am only able to get 2G under maxis presumably in my area.. GPRS and sometimes Edge, but never beyond that? Any clue as to what's the problem? |

U Mobile scales new heights with 3G network expansion KUALA LUMPUR: U Mobile Sdn Bhd is expanding its network across Peninsular Malaysia and will now offer 3G coverage and high- speed Internet services in every state. This followed the activation of its 3G Radio Access Networks (RAN) sharing with Maxis Bhd, a statement from the telecommunication company said yesterday. The 3G network expansion through the 3G RAN sharing represented a major milestone for the local telecommunications industry and was the first such initiative in Asia, it said. This not only reinforces U Mobile's commitment to expand its network coverage but positions U Mobile amongst the top three 3G telcos in Malaysia. The provision of 3G network services to Sabah and Sarawak remained on schedule and would be launched in early 2013, it said. In selected areas where 3G services are still being deployed, U Mobile customers will be able to continue to roam effortlessly on the 2G network which is available via U Mobile's 2G domestic roaming partnership with Maxis. Jaffa Sany Ariffin, chief executive officer of U Mobile, said the company was very excited to be able to enhance their customers' mobile experience through the expansion of its 3G footprint in Malaysia. “As a customer-centric telco, we have constantly strived to provide great quality services at affordable rates, better network coverage and faster mobile Internet speeds addressing the demands and desires of our customers,” he said. Bernama Heheh, 3G is coming soon for east malaysian umobile customers in 2013 |

just back from hatyai last week. during the highway traveling time, i still manage to use umobile online and speed test... well of cos some area speed drop and roam to maxis... but i already impress by the coverage... almost 80% i can said that the PLUS highway area no problem with umobile internet. No signal when near border only.
ps : digi improve a lot also...which out of my expectation as well. |
