QUOTE(simplesmile @ Jul 23 2012, 11:41 PM) Hi, I'm currently using Streamyx 512kbps bandwidth unlimited data. I plan to discountinue this service and switch to mobile internet. I know uMobile will cap the bandwidth after hitting the quota. May I know what is your user experience after hitting the quota? did you know how much ur monthly data traffic usage? after capped... speed will b like turtle... almost nearly cant load the webpage for u in notebook...I plan to connect my laptop to my handphone to go online. Going to cut the Telekom fix line discontinue streamyx. |

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Aug 10 2012, 10:00 AM) On current plan I have about 90+ minutes of calls and 400 SMS per month... I guess whatsapp/viber will cut down the call/SMS though. Still considering, maybe will wait in case umobile got network problems with the switching to maxis these few months. i think u get a u58 is more then enough.. once u got smartphone, u will mainly depends on whats app as it become the must hv program for smartphone. at least u will save 50% of ur sms usage.. the rest of the sms was only use when :1) u want subscribe to some service like bank credit card promotion 2) to non smart phone user |

My experience with digi sonfar so good.the bill quiet straight forward for me. I only complint bout their coverage. U might need to ask why digi charge u that much.
Yes.u28 is worth a try. My spare line was using u28 also.free sms. But no free call. Digi 48 gv u 1 gb data pln but umobile u28 gv u 1gb data and free sms......some more umobile coverage was much better the digi.speed fster as well. |

QUOTE(ciahcra @ Sep 15 2012, 11:34 PM) I'm planning to buy SGS3 together with u88 plan, and I have few questions that I would like to ask sifu here: 1.yes, if my calc not wrong, it can cover ur 6 months bill...1. Upfront payment: will it be use as a rebate for my monthly bill? 2. How's umobile coverage/service compare to other telcos? [I'm currently on DiGi, but I got fed up already, no coverage when i go balik kampung, and sometimes no/weak signal in my office (KLCC area) and my house (Pandan Indah)] 3. Comparing U88 and DiGi Smart Plan 88, which one do you think gives more value? Thanks, and I'd really appreciate input from you guys. 2.umobile using maxis tower, so maxis for signal, umobile also will hv signal, call for sure not a problem everywhere...but internet you need to check with umobile signal coverage. 3.of cos umobile, buy phone also cheaper, u88 gv free call and sms, digi only gv u 5gb data internet.... with digi such internet speed and coverage....i am doubt u can use up to 3gb a months ..hahah,...unless u are hotspot kaki. |
