QUOTE(prasys @ Mar 14 2013, 02:09 PM) Unmetered , thats the right term lol... really so slow? now i ady hit over 3x mb in a day... surpass ady... i wonder throttle how much different..once you have reached your quota , you would be throttled 64Kbps is a joke Google search takes forever , simple facebook also takes forever , twitter loads alright (except when you try to load twtitpic) , instagram takes forever to upload your photo ,whatsapp is smooth , push notifications (i.e e-mails , etc) would be super slow In other words after you reach your quota , your Internet speed would be a complete joke QUOTE(jusuchin85 @ Mar 14 2013, 02:25 PM) That's really bad... even Digi doesn't crawl that slow... Just wondering why they are throttling hard on this... QUOTE(jusuchin85 @ Mar 14 2013, 02:36 PM) Yup, I got the idea.. Thanks! digi crawl slowly.. there is time when postpaid user reach quota it slow down to 5kbps in the T&C...But then again, just wondering why the "hard-throttling"? I mean, I can't recall Digi throttling this hard when you reach your bandwidth cap. i highlight it and post in their fb page/lowyat thread about throttle 5kbps after few day they remove the" 5kbps "word and only state throttle then my friend postpaid over quota kenot surf facebook anymore... and go speedtest get 5kbps speed lmao.. now i not sure... but digi prepaid throttle also quite slow... 0.05 mbps i assume.. QUOTE(benrahman @ Mar 14 2013, 06:14 PM) lol later i try check |

Okay, this is getting a bit frustrating. First off, my first request to port from Digi to UMobile (thanks @digilife) has been declined. Went to call customer service, they mentioned that it was because I am currently tied down to the 58 Smart Plan (another 7 more months to go), and if I would like to port out, I would have to cancel the current contract. So, went to the Digi Centre in Pyramid, and paid RM100 to cancel it. Should be okay (double confirmed with the customer service and service centre).
Requested to @digilife to port out again, but this time, it was declined again. The reason? They haven't submitted the request to port out to the service team yet. Haih, I don't know whether this is because Digi is tying me down longer, and delaying it on purpose...or it really is the service is slower... |

wanted to ask you guys if you felt the same.
there are times when my UMI18 expired and i didn't renew it as I only topup RM30 per month. So while using regular data (5sen per MB), i notice my credit going down a lot. I only use whatsapp, facebook, twitter and foursquare and i only update apps and upload pictures via wi-fi. I'm an android jellybean user btw. |
