I got tried contact this number, but it seems like it hung up on my call after picking up.

But anyway, i plan to do early settlement for some of the CC in my DMP. i heard after the settlement, my CC can resume back to use is it? Just not sure which bank give better "offer". Any keyword tips? or just straight to the point. "i want to do settlement, how much i need to clear it" in my DMP got OCBC, UOB, MAYBANK, PBB, SC and HLB

I also heard from my previous AKPK advisor that there is a time frame or date that i can try to ask for a settlement so that can get better offer. Not sure if it's like festival time? Or what kind of closing date? Or year end?

Er... i never heard there is a time frame for early settlement. Banks will be more than happy you settling the bill. Discount will be various based on the balance amount, which bank and your negotiation skill.

Last time i checked, old CC wont be active anymore. Need to apply the new one. But still you can check with bank.. maybe they change their policies. Cuz mine be few years ago.

My AEON CC is finally paid, twice actually, probably for the missed March payment too

hi all, would like to know if there are any chances that the AKPK interest rate can be reduced further? i am helping out a relative of mine, however based on the balloon financing, the repayment increases by about 1k every 3 years. as my relative is a retiree, likely this will be difficult for the repayment in few years time.

As if the standard AKPK rate will be fixed at 1 rate. Won't have the auto increase after a few years.
I highly doubt the info is from the agent, like 1st 2 years 2%, 2-4 years 4% and so on.

there is ... cant rmb how many years then increase abit one... if the person cant commit, can go and re nego again, i believe.

Need to set the appointment with the AKPK officer, and have to explain your relative financial situation. Hopefully they got favorable solution.

Finally I managed to get CC from MBB. You are right, CTOS score will be bad for likely 2 years even after finish AKPK. My CTOS score is 517, which is poor, even though my CCRIS has been cleared from AKPK for one month.
MBB counter staff told me their bank never check CTOS and once no AKPK in your CCRIS, normally they will approve your loan and CC application.

Good to hear, this need to be heard more as a lot of misinformation say when you take up AKPK you're screwed for life even though you're out of it.

Basically, OCBC, HSBC, PBB and SC will not care what discount or not, pay whatever left..

Maybank bagi alang alang round up value from 10200 to 10k

HLB discount 600 from 19k

UOB jer will give more.. but like 6% discount from 30-40k remaining

Maybe really not a good time for a settlement now?.. or wait until year-end, only will get 11k discount till 6k offer kut....
