Actually some 3rd pt called themselves akpk 3rd pt agent which is linked to akpk but tat can help better. Most of the time these ppl will scare u said ur life ruined with akpk, akpk cannot settle ur debt, u will be blacklisted cannot buy house buy car bcoz ccris stamp u woth akpk logo.

Tats y some ppl will kena scammed tot these ppl wan to help them. N they will also kena scared about future till forgot their current problems n why wan go akpk.

So end up step in trap, realize later its even bigger amount n cannot survive then cry mother father lo.

Hi anyone have reschedule payment under colln maybank? if miss 1 or 2 months the reschedule payment,is that ok? what will happen? kind of tight budget these few months and need to prioritize other things.

Don't skip payments.

If you face difficulty, just contact AKPK officer, and asking their to reschedule your monthly payment. Reschedule Payment and Skip Payment are 2 different things.

Contact them or in website after login apply for moratorium..i tink max 3mths

Don't see much sharing about these 'agents', so just to share on my experience.

Was approached by them for DMP, explaining on standard things like consolidating all the personal loans and credit cards into a 10 year repayment with step-up monthly repayment. For example,
1. Year 1 - Year 2 >> RM1000
2. Year 3 - Year 4 >> RM1500
3. Year 5 - Year 6 >> RM2000
4. Year 7 - Year 10 >> RM2500

The 'agents' will be transparent saying you can personally apply without any charges, but it'll be troublesome to submit documents, meeting with the counsellor, attending counselling sessions and even the interest rates will be high. By using their services, for a sum of 8% - 10%, the process will be more straighforward and with high approval rate.

They do seem legit, with physical office and even can meet them there as to provide you with a sense of security (not just scam money, but not getting the DMP).

However, I was lucky to not went through with them. As the process of applying directly is pretty much hassle free. Approval takes about 7 working days, with the same kind of step-up monthly repayment.

For anyone looking to get DMP, please do not listen to these 'agents' as the process of applying directly is just the same as using their services. They don't 'scam' you, but just making a quick buck out of our financial predicament.

Do not hesitate if there's unmanageable debts. Start early, clear the debts and plan your finances accordingly. Good luck all!

Received the email from AKPK that I'm now under their DMP. Have made the first payment. Now waiting for the time to no longer receive calls from banks.

If i have extra cash in some months..can i pay extra into the DMP account? or just pay these extras into the banks that i have loans/CC with. (No, i'm not able to settle in full yet). TQ

Hv you built up your emergency fund yet?

If hv some extra cash for months, just build that emergency funds for raining days. As it is very bad if you hv to default yr agreed repayment under DMP arrangement

Would you suggest building the emergency funds in another bank or just pay extra to DMP?

If you pay extra in DMP, can you take it out just in case you needed some extra money for emergencies, like big car repairs or repairs your house roof due roof of your house got blown off or suddenly unemployed?

Don't think it's wise to pay extra into DMP.. Better save up and clear partially, like if you have 3 cc in DMP, clear 1 cc first..

Or as what others mentioned, save up for rainy days/emergency funds could be good too

Do I need to inform the banks that I'm now under DMP. I read somewhere here that AKPK will provide a letter stating that I'm under DMP..How soon will this letter be made available? TQ

No need. The bank already been notified automatically once u under AKPK.

Just applied maybank cc end of sept and approved 4 days later. The only reason i apply is because travelling soon, required for car rental deposit.

i thought our Visa DEbit Card works the same as credit card, no?

Does anyone have ever been rejected for withdrawal from the program? I have sent withdrawal letter via AKPK website but they have rejected it. Shall I just pay all outstanding to both banks and close it or how ya?

i trying to call their general line to get in touch with their officer to discuss about my repayment plan. but their general line keep toss me around with their voice mail box and cant reach any "human"at all. any tips to bypass this? if not..... i will walk in to ask...
