Partial settlement as in I have many other loans with other banks.. so I plan to make full payment with Maybank and get release letter to do partial settlement with AKPK..

Regarding this, I received call from AKPK. Seems like they can only deduct the payment by max 3 or 4 months.. Maybank staff made a mistake to pay to AKPK account instead of to the bank to settle my pending loan..

Now I have to contact AKPK to retrieve the money and go to bank again to make payment.
I am sure it will be another long journey back and forth at bank cos bank staff is quite confused/uninformed in smaller branches like Melaka..

1) i received calls from an bnm outsourcing agent saying that they can help to apply akpk dmp with fast approval. should i trust them? i am having difficulties to pay my card outstanding and desparately need a dmp to assist.

2) is it easy to apply dmp from akpk? how is the process, is it guarantee approval and how long does it take to get approval?

i did try to apply via akpk website but i got stuck at personal info page. after i keyed in bank info, i clicked on save and continue, but it seems just can't proceed further to next section.

(a little effort spend is better than the possibility of being conned/scammed in the process of easier passage)

1. I never heard that a such thing of bnm outsourcing agent. ONLY you yourself can apply AKPK. No one can apply on behalf of you.

2. Not sure still the same process. This is 10 years ago process...i think so somehow like this...
a. I call up AKPK to make appointment. The officer willl give u a appointment slot. U need to go there personally. Not sure now.
b. AKPK personal will request you to fill in Slip Pengesahan Temujanji. In the slip pengesahan temujanji.. have to fill in personal infomation, statement of income and expenditure. Your loan detail (housing, overdraft, hire purchase, credit card and others.
c. You need to prepare all all lastest credit card statement and all loans statement. Bring original and photocopy 1 set of each.
d. You will need to go through 2 session face to face. 1st is seminars on AKPK class to introduce you what is AKPK and so on.. 2nd consultation with officer to helps you how to restructure your payment.
e. The officer will contact bank for restructuring plan upon your agreement to enroll.. this take few days.
f. The officer then via call,email. Enrolled you on AKPK program knows as DMP acct. Your DMP acct is the one you need to pay monthly then the pool of money will distrobuted to the rest of the loan. Normally DMP acct is your IC# and need to key in your contact number. I pay thru Maybank online under AKPK or in Maybank Cash Deposit machine.

All this process in around a week if you hv all the document ready. Dont worry the officer is very very helpful.
Please note.. the process might already change but it should somesort like that.

According to my experience, I was graduated from AKPK on April 2021 and managed to get my 1st credit card from CIMB on May 2021( for outstation and hotel booking only. prefer with debit card for better credit management). Received the housing loan offers on this week too..

My advise, just tell the bank honestly during your progress for the loan. seeking for their advise and help. Good luck.

Fully agreed with you. Get the appointment and assistant from the AKPK directly. They are really helpful! ..but we need to waiting for long time for their hotline. walk in to bnm directly will be much more easier.

Do your previous AKPK have CIMB loan acct too? That is fast. You must be a good pay master in other loan. Some said need to wait 6 months after cleared from AKPK to get your score nice before can apply CC. Seem like once cleared can apply for CC and loan.

Call up the Collection department and let them know you intend to make full payment. There are some cases Maybank will give discount for earlier settlement. Not sure RHB

yup..but been rejected automatically from other banks too..etc like pbb, hsbc..they will check your CTOS..not easy to clear the record from CTOS..

No harm to try and call them to request for the discount..

Can we pay akpk monthly and also extra direct to bank so it will finish faster the repayment? Cox we cant pay extra into akpk account as it will still pay the exact amount monthly to the bank as agreed . I only in my second year of AKPK . The Cc and loan amount does not seems like reducing much cox of the very low repayment and bank still continue charge me late fees and interest fees
