your question is confusing

Sorry if it's confusing..

My question is:
How do I get release letter from Maybank now since payment is made to AKPK and already reflected in my AKPK account.. and not directly to Maybank itself.

Can someone share their experience?

After graduating from AKPK, gotten the final settlement letter from AKPK and banks, what is the next step? Do I need to check in CCRIS or etc?

And... any idea how long do should i wait before i try applying for credit card (to build profile)... before i can apply for car or house loan?

Just graduated from AKPK, after 4 years of enrollment

it won't show you how much you'd paid. You can only check with the bank the amount left...

I enrolled AKPK since 2012. I just payoff my balance 5k one lump sum 3days ago on 1st Nov to graduated from AKPK. It is not a easy jpurney but it does help us how to manage our finance better.

I still remember the time receiving tourtoring call by 6 bank collectors wt totalled amount of near70k almost every day. I almost got depresion that time. Thanks to AKPK on restructuring program.

To those have finance issue, do get AKPK helps. Credit cards is a devil if you cannot control your spend. I learned my lesson. A HARD ONE.

Btw for those just enrolled in AKPK wt big debt, dont feel bad. Is just you can't use credit card and apply loan. You can live your as normal like travelling oversee and so on. Personally I have hard time on 1st 3 years as salaried man. I do struggle for 1st 3 years but i did clear off partial small outstanding debt wt my extra cash from yearly bonuses.

I do learn not to over stress yourself or pushing urself too hard else you will end up too stress out and depress....try to live with it and treat it as a journey...once a while it is completely fine to enjoy and pampered urself with extra cash you hv. Just follow simple rules..1st pay AKPK, utilities and monthly commitment, set aside budget maybe for 20 days meal wt most economic value you can done with. Extrasss..you can enjoyed it during weekend wt family and do set aside some small amount for emergency. For me i will not touch my rm100/RM150 tabung monthly.. btw tabung things i started after the 2nd year lol.

During the journey, some of unlucky one might hit bumper like temporary out of job... do discuss family or partner or even call up AKPK officer if u think u needed consultation. It is free btw on consultation.

I do out of job for 6 months in 2017 wt some compensation & my tabung really helps that time and that time i do apply as well my kwsp 2nd acct to my house loan monthly commitment for a year.

My 10 years journey is not always a smooth one but manageable.

not sure about cooling period but I managed to get my car loan approved 1 month after I withdrawn. They also supplemented me with credit card as well. Provided your K status in CCRIS is clear. Also depends on bank to bank
I have withdrawn from AKPK in February and self settle all my debts.

Now must spend wisely and kick the habit of over spending. If not back to square ones.
*
When you applied for loan and got approval, were all your debts settled? Because I’m have withdrawn from AKPK and having one last credit card self managing now, but my credit card application was still rejected.

Yup evil...I still hv credit card but is a supplementary card, I will only bring out as spare when I'm in oversea/business trip. Most of the time i keep it wt my passport in drawer lol...I dont really use it, i hv creditcardphobia. I prefer using debit card. BP(BigPay) debit card for oversee use as the conversion rate is pretty good. While in Malaysia i use Maybank/Cimb debit card.

I guess i kinda get used to it using debit card. Everytime wanna use debit card I will check my bank acct for balance in my apps. Some how it helps to avoid impulsive buying behavior especially those expensive stuff since you know once you swipe your debit card no way turn back lol. The number $ in your saving acct immediately deducted.

I heard most those graduated from AKPK only hv high chances to apply CC after 6 months upon settlement wt condition of

1. CCRIS need to be in good shape like most of the payment must have not hv too many "1". Like most of the month zero default payment.
If still show AKPK record in your CCRIS, thats it...you cant apply.
2. CTOS score need to be at high like 680++, 700 score?

I dont know, anyone have any idea.. or will if apply those bank which is not in AKPK restructuring before have higher chances?

Any bankers or finance consultant can provide some insight?
