2-3 years ago, this is what citibank for me as i need to go nearest branch to get refund plus my address has to be updated beforehand too.

now I am not sure what is the process if there is any new ones, possible some members can share some.

heard Citibank want to move itself out from SEA (if recalled correctly), so not sure any impact ler

for my case, citibank send mail to my house said account already fully paid. and ask go bank for the refund.
due to just small amount i call the number given inside the mail.
the officer just ask to sign the form and email/fax back.

i get my refund in between 1 week.

I called to 2383 5700 and speak to customer service.
Now waiting akpk officer frm citibank to call me back.
Cause i ask for rebate and also waiting their instructions on how to make the payment.
Need wait fr 2 working weeks T.T

Call 03-2383 5691 or 03-2383 5699 . This is direct line to akpk officer at citibank.
But they never pick up my call.

not only cicitbank other bank also near same. maybe the PIC for AKPK cases is very less.
last time myself also keep on call and call no choice just try your luck.

Ya, last time did call other banks akpk department, you get lucky if someone answer it. But right now, the covid situation, many not in office too, unless the call direct to their wfh phone if they do set it.

I had no problem phone calls with other banks. especially standard charted most pro. they even updated with akpk after i settled. i dont even need to wait n upload release letter. other banks i still need wait for release letter then upload to akpk myself. now only left citibank that still not settle cause SORRY CANT HELP CAUSE OTHER DEPT.

good luck with the return call. Its been a month now and I still havent received any calls from them.

The first thing to do when you're facing this, is to refinance consolidate (if you have property under your name, preferably more than 3-5 years without refinancing it before).

AKPK should be the last last last..... thing to consider.

Same with me...need to call their hotline and waiting the akpk pic to call back//follow up everyday..the most tiring bank to call...
