disclaimer: it is up to you, with regards to, accessing this scenario of mine.

recently i helped purchased officially unlocked units from australia for a few of the forummers here, and they came wrapped in their original packaging.

they unwrapped and activated their respective units with their malaysian SIM card themselves.

I don't think you can if you want to sign up the iData plan under the same number without terminating the committed iValue plan.

I have an offer for an Iphone 3G 8GB. Aussie model. It's not unlocked, but i guess i can learn how to jailbreak and unlock it myself.

It has a crack that runs across the screen, a couple of dead pixels, and some blemishes (knocks) here and there.

I can get it for rm500. worth it?

@pwncake,
RM500 is good $ IMO. I wouldn't pay RM500 for that phone U described.

@samlee860407,
Not sure Y ur i3G wifi doesn't work - I've upgraded mine and have had no regrets thus far biggrin.gif Sold the i3G to finance the i3GS *smiles*

@charger,
I've no idea Y ur friend said that but performance wise it should be the same. It's just additional HDD that's all.

@charger,
It's pretty personal. I know of people who needs the 32GB cause of additional storage but I also know of people who got the 32GB because they were kiasu even if they don't utilise half of that [I belong to the latter] oops.gif

Both are equally good. Most wil go for bigger capacity HD. Your choice at the end of the day if your budget allows you to do so.

Cheers

as of now, there's hardly any news of forummers purchasing from Thailand.

why not from Malaysia? Maxis is the official distributor.

@tabs,
If it's cheaper here in MY and if ur based here, I see NO reason Y U should trouble ur friend (and urself) to get a Thailand set when U can just conveniently get it here; well, convenient if not for the stock issues but still.......

@davidgary73,
hMm.. this Buy.Com for real or not one?! I didn't know USA sets were officially unlocked tongue.gif
