Checked on the OTA update on the phone as well as the Nokia Malaysia website. Zilch, nothing yet. However, bear in mind we are ahead of the US and Europe in terms of timezone. So we should all check again sometime in the afternoon or early tomorrow morning. Wouldn't make sense if Malaysia got it first.

I think it should be out latest by 10pm tonight.

Firstly, it does not say anything about the sliding keylock.

Secondly, it does not say anything about the unlockable keylock problem. (edit: oh, just saw it. Good job Nokia)

Thirdly, my N97 does not have transitions in the UI. It's just uh, flashing and blinking. Do I have to turn it on somewhere?

They did fix the rebooting problem when you use 3G though.

go to settings, themes, general, then option menu.. n u can see theme effects, choose on or of...

for me when the efect is on.. it will slow response the phone. so i just turn if of.. when want to show of to friend, i turn it on.. hehe

I think it depends on product/region code. Maybe it is available for Europe first. Not APAC.

Anyway, the next firmware upgrade will most likely be v20, standard Nokia practise

Just realised you can hide the contents of the homescreen by sweeping your fingers across the screen diagonally when the phone is in landscape mode.

I'm learning new things about this brilliant phone each and everyday. One reason why I never read manuals

Got this ignoring problem, been using the carry case with belt clip for my N97. Whenever the phone ring, often the screen unlock by itself and the secondary camera turn on. Found out that the camera len protector mechanize was using some kind of magnetic sensor to turn on the camera. So whenever i pick up the phone and if touches the magnet part on the carry case it will activate the camera.

now have to search for carry case without using magnet to close....

anyone accouter this prob when the battery fully drain,
then i charge it to full.
Turn it on,then it hangs on the main white screen,cannot access to the main interface??
have to take out 2 to 3 times the battery only can access it?
why does this happen?
