Hey guys, I heard, err I just knew that that this n97 will only have a single ARM 11 434 MHz processor.
For your information, n95 8GB has Dual ARM 11 332 MHz processor and 3D Graphics HW Accelerator.N97 doesn't even have a 3D chip, so playing NGage games will be a pain in the ass. (Just like n96, watch the difference in youtube) So I can't decide whether to get this phone or not. Experts out there, help me out

Without testings, Omnia HD is the best in every single features. Hmm, I've been a Nokia fan for a long time. I don't wanna convert because of this.

"The Nokia Blog's got it on good authority that the Finnish phone maker's giving its North America distributors the heads up to expect the N97 to arrive on June 2nd for $699, although that price might end up lower. We've been hearing an expected June launch for some time, so it's definitely not out of the question. This does, however, serve as both an exciting and somewhat painful reminder that, should a couple other rumors pan out, June's gonna be a busy month for smartphones."

Wow, you're damn lucky goldfries. I can stop thinking of this phone all day long. I've watched all the vids on youtube, read all the info in every website. I can't wait any longer Do you have any idea when is it going to be in the Malaysian market? And 1 more thing, was it faster than 5800? I found that 5800 is pretty fast, even though the RAM isn't as high as n95's.

Added on May 21, 2009, 5:10 pmQUOTE(Alexdino @ May 21 2009, 01:42 PM) fast is because of OSv5, OSv5 = 3 times OSv3 My bad, what I was trying to say is its processor's speed isn't as high as n95's. Oh is it for real that OSv5 is 3 times faster than OSv3?, cool ! This post has been edited by mannquin: May 21 2009, 05:12 PM

I don't have any problem opening the smashpop website.
I still didn't manage to get the correct answer for the 1st question.
I think I know the answer for the 2nd question. Wanna trade?

No, I'm in Malaysia right now, as you can see in the picture attached, I already changed it to Malaysia.
Yea the clues are different, but they lead to the same answers. I don't think the answers are case sensitive.
Edit : Besides, they don't throw this contest for Canadian

The answers do make sense, it's just that we need to think a bit deeper, and need to relate them with N97

That was the 1st answer I punched in the box. But somehow I got it wrong. See this pic
Added on May 31, 2009, 10:35 amOh what the ****, I just saw this at the very bottom of the page. "Different kinds of searches are currently taking place all across the globe. This page will only help you discover Ns that have been secretly hidden around the UK. Check the links to the clues to make sure that this is the right search for you, and good luck!" So does that mean the set of answers are different for UK and Malaysia? Where do we check the answers for Malaysian ? This post has been edited by mannquin: May 31 2009, 10:36 AM

QUOTE(nebousuke @ May 31 2009, 01:32 PM) No i think that's a different competition... It's not same as the one on Noknoktv I want to correct you on this, this contest for Malaysian is exactly the same as the one thrown by NokNok.tv. To prove this, you may check the clues given by them, which lead to the same answer as the ones given by SymbianPoP. Ours and NokNok's sets of questions and answers are different from the one that we can check the answers from the Nokia website. That's what I got after reading from many sources Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks This post has been edited by mannquin: May 31 2009, 02:59 PM

QUOTE(Ash @ Jun 2 2009, 07:53 PM) Results are out, if you're one of the 10 contestants then you should receive the email by now. Anyway I think it won't take too long until n97 reaches the store. 2 Weeks max I'd say Did you manage to be 1 of the 10? If yes, congrats and good luck!

QUOTE(nebousuke @ Jun 2 2009, 07:59 PM) Because 1 kilobyte = 1024 byte, 1 megabyte = 1024^2 bytes, 1 gigabyte = 1024^3 bytes. Well depending the context actually. But for memory measurement, the above should be a much accurate interpretation Wow, I never knew that. Btw did you manage to be one of them ?
