guys,how much better is the HD4850 compared to the 9600GT..got into an arguement with my brother who seemes really unhappy with me buying the 4850..he said its only SLIGHTLY better then the 9600gt and with the price i should have bought a 9600gt..bullcrap right?

BlueScreen? Most probably your psu failed.

What's your rig spec? Include your power supply true power rating too.

it's already on his siggy doh.gif...hmm, if thru googling, some mention it's cause by the CCC while some says it's from crysis itself o_O..with ur psu, it should b more than enough to power up ur rig..

1. Disable all anti-virus programs
2. uninstall previous version of Catalyst through add & remove programs/Programs and Features
3. Reboot Pc
4. Go to device manager
5. Display adapters
6. right click uninstall (tick the box delete the driver software........) Ok
then reboot if asked to
7. make sure it says Standard VGA Graphics Adapter (if not repeat step 6 )
8. Right click Update driver software
9. Search automatically for driver software (make sure you have no internet connection)
10. If it finds a driver follow step 6 until it only finds Stander VGA Adapter
11. Go to windows explore c: \Program files\ and delete ATI & ATI Technologies
12. Reboot
13. Run cat 8.11 setup file
14. Uninstall
15. Go to c: ATI and run setup
16. Install
17. Custom (Please not the express)
18. UNTICK Catalyst Registration & World of Warcraft Free Trial
19. Then hit that install button and hold thumbs

Try underclocking first.

You have 800Mhz RAM at 1066, and even though a E8400 at 4Ghz is common, you might be hitting instability.

juz get a Asus Ati 4670 at cycom juz now ... Rm325 ...

how is the performance in gaming ? can play crysis at medium setting wif AMD X2 4000 ???

Guys, does furmark stability test (with 8x MSAA) reflect gaming stability ? No artifact etc.
