IMO malaysia GLCs bank provide low quality of services shakehead.gif shocking.gif ....foreign bank would be better in terms of counter service and CS.... wink.gif

I have opened up accounts with the following GLCs banks, CIMB, Maybank, RHB. IMO, CIMB has the worst service everywhere. I really do not know what there are doing behind the counters. I have to wait for more than 30 minutes with just 2 customer ahead of me! and mind you there are 3 tellers. please do not asked me what they are doing as till today i am still trying to figure it out!

RHB is quite good!

I dont know...so far CIMB to me still ok smile.gif . Maybank really cannot larr...attitude, quality and efficiency all below passing mark shocking.gif shakehead.gif ....RHB never dealt with

maybank front desk like govt service one.. i like TM front desk, even when u r queuing, there's a second person standing there to help u like asking you first before u spent unnecessary queue time.

I will cast my vote for worst bank to BSN. Not every branch has CDM machine.

There're two branches in my area. One branch is too small that cannot even fit a CDM. Only ATM machine outside.

The other branch has CDM but the CDM got Windows XP error and malfunction! OMG!

I use my Maybank Platinum credit card as an access to Maybank Priority banking.

Their Maybank Priority banking at KLCC branch is very efficient and fast.

No long queues.

I like CIMB, although my experience has been limited to the branches at Masjid Jamek and Mid-Valley. Also I like CIMBClicks, keeps improving and makes it very easy to open FD and pay almost all my bills.

I dont get it, people always say Maybank lousy and inefficient but why the hell still so many people using it?

Ppl still using Maybank is bcoz they got the largest networks of branches & ATM machines in Msia compared to the others.

RHB still sarks ...

i applied a housing loan ... margin 45% ... and i definitely qualified for the loan ....

problem is i submitted all the documents on 29 AUG ... until now they havent approve

i had ask the personal banker y take so long ... other banks onli nid 3 working days ... she juz keep saying raya + merdeka ... a lot ppl ambik cuti ... no ppl work

realli b*llshit this bank .... i ask if can call hq to ask them work faster .... she say kenot ... wtf

problem come liao is in my booking form , the due date to gif vendor's lawyer my loan offer letter is today ... n tht stupid RHB stil say havent approved and say dunno when ....

i say if reject oso gif me an answer ... she say konfem approved ... everything konfem ... now juz wair hq update the status in system for them to print the offer letter ...

the reason i didnt apply other bank previously :

1) i had existing loan wif lock in period , thus im proposing i get this new loan from them with the request of waiving the current loan lock in period penalty. coz im gonna sell my current house. ( n this personal banker didnt submit the request , said she gonna do onli after i sign my new offer letter.and she doesnt inform me earlier until i ask her last friday about the status )

2) my mother help me submit the documents. n she gave all the original 1 to the personal banker. doh.gif n now i dun haf the payslip and other documents. so kenot submit other banks. the original docs the personal banker oso submit sekali to hq. idiot. rclxub.gif

Call me 016-2242290. Complete set document, 3 days get to sign Lo. I did this to my customer usually..

Worst bank award goes to Hong Leong Bank. You try calling their customer sevice hotline always will get connected to voice answering machine asking to leave down you contact. Maybe want to save cost by being stingy on manpower . When my ATM card swallowed by the machine at LRT station, i call the home branch to check few weeks later, they say not with them. Then i call the branch nearest to the LRT where my card kena telan, the officer told me to apply and pay for a new one! Apparently the machines are outsourced, so the service providers will not return the card to the branch, instead they will destroy it! No wonder my friend who works there say HL cater more for corporate client, they not so keen to serve the mass public.

my experience with Maybank is pretty good. bad experience with EON.

but i think it's really case by case basis. imagine if there are only 2 persons ahead of you but 2 persons are doing some really troublesome transaction (like opening acc which they need other officers involvement and additional registration), that potentially takes up more time.

but generally speaking, people like maybank because they have branches, ATM, CDM, etc all over places.
