The GPs are abt 2 months old not sure the per shop salesman get it right or not as I felt he sell me a couple instead of 2 females GPs...They have started to bond with my gf as she hand feed them and can hold them but once a while they will run away from being hold. They keep doing the high pitch sound. When I let them out for some exercise time. What is that mean ar?I bought a boon on them but still not sure wat the sound mean.
Oh, by the way Sugar thanks alot for the Vet information...will pass it to my Gf.
Gp are quite sensitive, if they are not used to travelling they can get stressed, more over insufficient space or smaller cage oso can make them feel stressed. how old are your GP? you can try but if you see any sign of stress like refuse eating, weight lost, diarhea(um i dont know if this spells right) you should avoid doing so. my 3 females are used to traveling, so its not a problem for them, but i only start bringing them along with me when i feel like they already bond with me, um around 3months after i bring them home.

Yes its true! They are happy when they run around. Mine particularly like to chase each other around 10pm like that.. around 11pm it will be total silence coz they are in the dome resting until the next morning. My pellet and bedding also all terbang2 one hahahaha. Every morning also can see the bedding fly until outside of the cage. This morning was the first time i saw one of them popcorn when i was stocking up their hays XD

Although GP is a sensitive animal, but it won't be easily died because of changing environment or cage. Probably just stressed for a day or a night, then next day would be ok.
yup thats right. if you keep them comfortable they'll just stress a bit only..
here's my male abby, Shiro(white/orange) and Shiki(agouti) they are adorable and since its my frist time handling male gp, i see some differences in their character if i compare with my gurls...n to me they bond with me easier than my females...
The above posting done by my bf Colin. The panda face called Bugsy and the other called Bubble.I also not sre wat means by popcorning too..maybe they did it also I dunno...hahaah i like to see them washing themself so cute....

Usually male GPs have more courage, hence could easily overcome their fear, and not so shy.

Hello all, I wanna ask usually where do u put ur cage? I put on the floor and guess they are very scare when ppl walking around then cage cos we seem so huge to them. Will try to put on table and see how it goes...They are hiding away all the time...so i have no choice to give them treat to make the out from the box...They have know how to recognise my voice so sweet...a little comfort when they finally accept me...at first very stress...

Chubby i put mine on the floor too dont worry.. But its best if you have like a small desk to put the cage on. But make sure its stable.. wont be moving around if they run Mine always get scared too but once they know who their owners are, you walk pass the cage also they do dunno give them time to adapt to surroundings. My son is fond of running around the house but now they dont seem to care.. last time sure run inside their dome >_<
