QOS suck, i dont like it,
i kinda have high expectations for QOS since Casino Royale was one of the best Bond movies imo (haters gonna hate) tongue.gif

i hope bond 23 gonna go back to basics like old bond movies with Q,the gadgets, moneypenny, n over the top action sequence
but not too cartoony like Die another day(which i doubt they ever gonna do in Craig's era)
i want something like Goldeneye
n i hope the use less cgi too, the free falling scene in QOS should have been more awesome if it was not done with green screen

n i want to hear the bond theme more often during the film nod.gif
but dont spam the theme to often like in tomorrow never dies doh.gif

Bond 23 to Shoot in India: Reports

user posted image

James Bond could well be returning to India for a second time (after 1983's Octopussy) to shoot sequences for the 23rd installment of the franchise, according to local media reports Tuesday.

The Mid-Day newspaper quoted an unnamed source stating, “(Bond 23) Director Sam Mendes recently made a hush-hush visit to Mumbai along with production designer Terry Bamber in mid-April for the film's recce. The movie will be shot in Mumbai and Goa during the monsoon season on a month-long schedule.”

The monsoon season begins in late June for about two months. The western resort town of Goa was also featured in a car chase sequence in 2004's The Bourne Supremacy.

The report also indicated that line production for Bond 23 will be handled by Mumbai-based India Take One Productions which worked on Slumdog Millionaire; the outfit also handled line production for director Ang Lee's Life Of Pi starring Tobey Maguire that recently filmed in southern India.

The last time the James Bond franchise visited India was with the Roger Moore-starrer Octopussy that was shot in Agra and Udaipur with the film featuring Indian actor Kabir Bedi and a guest appearance by well-known tennis star Vijay Amritraj.

Meanwhile, Mumbai has also seen a recent shoot for the upcoming Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol that filmed some second unit shots in the city. Online portal Rediff.com recently posted some pictures of the shoot featuring a body double for Tom Cruise seen with a BMW sports car.

Directed by Brad Bird, MI:4 will also feature popular Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor (Slumdog Millionaire) in his first mainstream Hollywood outing after the actor last year featured in the final season of Fox TV's 24 show.

India has also served as a location for another recent international production, director Roland Joffe's Singularity starring Josh Hartnett, Neve Campbell and Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu.

Daniel Craig Wanders Around the Set of Skyfall

I’ve never been much of a James Bond fan. He was always a bit too dapper and sophisticated for me, almost unbearably so once Roger Moore came aboard. All of that changed when Daniel Craig took the reigns, transforming the on-screen version of Bond from a well-mannered British snot into a rough-and-tumble badass who isn’t afraid to take a few whacks to his genitals. The batch of images from the set of “Skyfall” aren’t that impressive, mind you, but at least we know for certain that Craig is finally heading back to the franchise. That, of course, is all sorts of awesome.

Here’s a brief synopsis of the film:

Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

Sam Mendes’ “Skyfall” stars, Dame Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, and Ben Whishaw. Javier Bardem will play the villain. Awesome? Awesome.

Ben Whishaw is playing 'Q' in Skyfall. I guess Bond is going to get some interesting gadgets in this movie.

After watching Jeremy Renner in suit on MI:4 he actually reminds me of Daniel Craig. Too bad he's not English man

But they both can't act, can't pull off a James Bond. I think Michael Fassbender would be a good choice. And if you want to go black, Chiwetel Ejiofor could be one, although I haven't seen in in anything recently.

Jason Statham and Gerard Butler ? Not a chance, they lack the persona of James Bond character. Michael Fassbender yes. Dude got style.

Will take a while to see if Daniel Craig step down (or force to)and whether Michael Fassbender able to fill in those shoes. He has the charm and the look... but the direction of James Bond is different at the moment with Daniel Craig as the current bond.

Let's see how the next bond movie (entitled Skyfall) will either make or break. I had watched all 20 films (I did not watch Daniel Craig take as Bond and hopefully I will; really and seriously depends on my mood) of it all (I did a 5 day marathon then) and I feel Sean Connery still able to hold himself very well as Bond.

As time goes by, so does the taste of movie-goers and audience all alike. Let's wait till Skyfally release in the cinemas (and I will try to watch Casino Royale & Quantum of Solace) will make or break Craig.

For me Gerard Butler is bland. Stathom has a very cool aura around him but he isn't Bond. How about Tom Hardy? He probably looks a bit too young now but come the retirement of Craig he may just be up for it.

I'd agree with Hardy actually. He has the suave, but the sarcastic side of him is a bit of an issue for me though. (Not that Bonds haven't been sarcastic in all his movies)
