I dunno why, but seeing your posts back to back kinda funny.

Anyways, it'll be interesting to see where they take this rebooted franchise, now that the origin story + Eva Green story arc has ended. Will this Bond be the suave Bond or is he still finding his footing in the world of espionage, etc, etc.

Did it really end? I still remember Bond driving the Ford jeep (i think) and getting new info on his next target.

Not MGM's fault. I have other sources of Hollywood news, and I never heard anything about "officially" scrapping the next Bond movie. On the other hand, I have heard the latest news that the movie is finally on.

Conclusion? Beyondhollywood.com sucks. I dunno why people here always quote them.

A good news source will check their sources. They will make sure it's 100% true before they publish a headline that goes "It's Confirmed".

Looks like they got it from Aintitcoolnews.com. Which is known for not being very credible.

Dark Horizons is much more reliable, guys.

Not just aintitcoolnews alone but other sites as well, depending on where they got it from.

There was a time they try to get as much news as they can to be credible but then, it is also the studio's fault to give them the run-about.

Nothing is always confirm > just like there was a time Stephen Chow did sign up for The Green Hornet to play as Kato and it was reported "confirmed" but then soon later reported "creative differences" and he was out and gave it to Jay Chou.

News are always in and always out - it all comes down to when its done.

Good example is Dominion - A Prequel to Exorcist. It was confirm... then scraped. And then make another one that is called Exorcist: The Beginning with new director Renny Harlin.

So in any case, news are reported... just that you can never get it "confirm" until its "confirmed" with images and trailers and all that...

the character he captured at the end of CR and interrogated in the beginning of QoS(Mr White?) did say they had men "everywhere".....that, and judging by M's personal assistant(Mitchell?) betraying them,it suggests that there's still alot of them...or atleast the organisation isnt completely gone..

For me Daniel is a fail for bond character. So what if he has chiseled body? He looks too old. And there is no air of charm in him at all!!! He looks like a blardy russian or nazi german. So what if he has acting credentials? Most of my buddies who likes bond movies since Roger Moore days says he is not good replacement since Pierce. We people want to see people. Not some story that is suppoed to romanticised the politically correct "Bond" stories. All of them were corny and it works. It sells. Money to be made.

These last 2 seems to be milked by Sony for their hardware sales rather than us u are paying for tickets. Get real!! Daniel no good for Bond!!!

Yeah, after Pierce, Bond is getting downhill....he is not like an usual Bond "feeling"....a bit kickass yes, but certainly not the old school Bond that we like

i much prefer DC's Bond.

I like Daniel Craig as Bond, and as good as Brosnan was you can't deny he was a sissy compared to Craig's Bond. He was a bit charmless in QoS, yes, but seeing as how they have wrapped up the angry loose cannon by the end of that movie, I'm very much looking forward to seeing his next outing... with Sam Mendes no less. Going by his choice of DP one thing is certain - it's going to be one of the bets looking Bond movies ever.

And I want John Powell for the score, but I think they are sticking with David Arnold.

Frankly, who's the best Bond of them all? I have a hard time to choose either Roger Moore or Sean Connery.

Some say Sean Connery (after all, he started it all). Some say Roger Moore (but many compare to his The Saint TV Series signature style of acting). Others say Pierce Brosnon (because of his sexiness). Still, in every decade new generation will say they are a better Bond than the other... of course, excluding George Lazenby. Timothy Dalton on the other hand... well... who knows, maybe someone likes him

I beg to differ.
D.Craig do bring changes in Bond franchise.He's bada$$ version of Bond who care not but himself and would stop/kill anyone on his way.
After his lover's death,we can see the way he change.Ruthless,uncontrollable,but efficient in doing his job.
Instead of relying on his luxurious cars,gadgets,he do get the jobs done by being precise,calm and smooth in every action.
This new Bond shows that he too is human, a vulnerable and emotional person at a time,but a strong man too.
In QOS,we can see there's not much of charm surrounding him(probably due to the ending in Casino Royale) which could be a letdown to fans..
Maybe in the third installment,they could work on something for this particular characteristics.

It's all part of the story flow.

This new Bond takes him back to the beginning.
In Casino Royale, he had just started and just only earned his License to Kill. Therefore, he was a bit rough around the edges.
In Quantum of Solace, he was angry and spent the whole movie in revenge mode.
In the next movie, expect him to start looking more like the Bonds of yore.

Honestly, the current series feels more like a Jason Bourne movie than a Bond movie, but I guess that's the trend these days and the storyline was tailored to suit. Not that it's that much of a bad thing. I loved the Bourne series and I loved CR, but not as much with QoS. As I said before, it'll be interesting to see where they take the franchise next.
