For me Daniel is a fail for bond character. So what if he has chiseled body? He looks too old. And there is no air of charm in him at all!!! He looks like a blardy russian or nazi german. So what if he has acting credentials? Most of my buddies who likes bond movies since Roger Moore days says he is not good replacement since Pierce. We people want to see people. Not some story that is suppoed to romanticised the politically correct "Bond" stories. All of them were corny and it works. It sells. Money to be made.
These last 2 seems to be milked by Sony for their hardware sales rather than us u are paying for tickets. Get real!! Daniel no good for Bond!!!
I beg to differ.
D.Craig do bring changes in Bond franchise. He's bada$$ version of Bond who care not but himself and would stop/kill anyone on his way.
After his lover's death,we can see the way he change.Ruthless, uncontrollable, but efficient in doing his job.
Instead of relying on his luxurious cars, gadgets,he do get the jobs done by being precise, calm and smooth in every action.
This new Bond shows that he too is human, a vulnerable and emotional person at a time, but a strong man too.
In QOS,we can see there's not much of charm surrounding him(probably due to the ending in Casino Royale) which could be a letdown to fans..
Maybe in the third installment, they could work on something for this particular characteristics.
