coz im using coaxial from my onboard...and my music source mostly 196kbs...low bitrate ...but now im looking forward to deal Prodigy HD2...hope its satisfied me more after this

i can oni hear the sound when i din play any song, coz it oni happen when the volume is over 35 and i dun thk i can hear any tssskk sound ..heh...

hahahahha i know...dealer dun reply me yet bout da sound card...feel like my system cacat....but comparing my ATP3 + onboard..sound lagi best dari now...mauhahaahah

you can try to unplug any input to ur speaker. without input, you try to see if turn up the volume still giving you the sound.
if no sound, then probably the sound is come from your PC. then you should try with other PC or soundcard to check if the problem still exist.

BTW, is the "tssskk" sound very loud?

hello there i need ur guys help here,which is the best edifier 2.1 speaker support red/white cable (one for input and another output) for example like this pic:

I went to the Mines few days ago and having difficult time to find edifier speaker that support 2x red/white plug in plus headphone jack

Already tried search n google but found support only one red/white cable.

Because i use av cable for my PS

budget under rm180.

the loudness of 'tsssskk' sound depend on the volume, the higher the louder..

ive one more question now, will there be big different in sense of sound quality with the usage of expensive soundcard and normal onboard soundcard?

u can get an Edifier E3100. it sounds 1000x better than your SG EVO3. bad thing is there is no headphone jack. it features double RCA input connection (red and white) and price is at about 160.

actually u can get any speaker connected to your PS. u just need a (Y-DVD Splitter)

it quite depends on your ears... but depending on what are u comparing. for an example u are comparing modern onboard soundcard with a.., say RM200 x-fi cards. the different won;t be that much. but if u compare RM200 x-fi cards to an old onboard soundcard, of course external soundcards are better.

hence: if u have good onboard sound and wish to upgrade, get more expensive soundcard so that u can feel the difference and not regret buying it...

E3100 the cheapest i saw was RM155 from Garage Sales, and yeah, it sounds hundreds time better than SG EVO, really regret buying SG products
my aim for next upgrade would be S330, but is it just me, or the price has increased? last saw few months ago it was RM399, but it was RM429 when i last checked on friday

my mobo is asus M3A... iinm, the soundcard is ATI SB600..is it considered modern?

at sri only rm399 for s330 if im not mistaken. i went there last thursday. can bargain a bit. 390 if u're not good at bargaining, cheaper if u're good. i only got rm9 discount for my r1900t3. but i still love it!
