Thanks,man.

They even have a reseller near my place in NSW.Just 10-15 minutes bus ride from my home. rclxm9.gif

The only problem is the base specs is bad.

Why did the Aus one give out crap specs one? 1GB RAM and a 1.73 C2D.It's a joke,IMO.The CPU will be a bottleneck for the ultra fast GC.

How much bette is 9800GTS,compare to 9800GT?

Funny enough, the mobile 9800 series GTS perform 5~10% sower than an mobile 9800 series GT.

You can get more detailed comparison here under "The Performance".

Buy from Xotic PC or Eurocom and forget about the warranty. There's a good chance of your local retailer willing to help you to fix your machine if there's a problem at a price. Contact them and see what they say.

"Hello, I'm so not buying from you guys but could you fix my machine if it screwed up?"

Heard of malibal?

http://www.malibal.com/content/about_us.shtml

They have the same thing , but the price is way too cheap ( I assume it is in USD )
(Lots cheaper than pioneer austrialia )
And i hope it is.

Are they trustworthy?

I'm one of the "reviewers who joined only posted once (and never again on any other site?)" tongue.gif .

I actually keep Xotic PC update about my status and when I emailed them about the arrival of my machine and very happy of it. They then suggest me to drop them a review in their reply... So I register to Reseller Ratings and only post once for Xotic PC... and never again laugh.gif .

Hey all , thosiba has a high spec series called qosmio.

The price of a 17 inch , 9800GTX , 4GB DDR3 is seriously reasonable biggrin.gif

Anyone tried that?

Indeed, although its has a very arguable design and the result of reviews are rather mix, some says it has good value but some disagree. In addition, I'm quite disappointed with the unavailability of WUXGA screen.

However, there's a few solid features such as;

# You're able to switch to a weaker IGP when doesn't require all the graphics power.

# Superior sound quality with 4.1 speaker setup.

# Quad core support.

# Incredible sound.

# Very incredible sound.

# Did I mention very very very good sound?

Enough with the crap... Sorry I'm a little bit over excited with... the sound.

Take note though this notebook is loaded with... LOTS of bloatware. I'm warning you, a fresh install is absolute require, half of the performance of your notebook will be dedicated to run those bloatware if you don't clean them away.

[EDIT]

And apparently my previous post did not caught anyone attention... I'm rather surprised.

DID I MENTION CLEVO WILL BE RELEASING A NOTEBOOK WITH DESKTOP INTEL i7 AND MOBILE G280? NO? NOW I'M TELLING YOU.

Specification from Eurocom (Similar to Xotic PC).

And once again thanks for Gophn from NotebookReview for providing this exciting information.

Latest update, just receive my sager np9262 this morning heheh. Actually the lappie arrived yesterday afternoon but due to nobody at home resulted me to self collect this morning. Well where do I start hehe, the box was big, weighing over 20kg LOL. The packaging was nice, tight and fit. Moving to the lappie, it was thicker, bulkier and heavier than I expected. But if compared to my Sony vaio, the np9262 is smaller in term of it's width. Anyway will continue the review later as I'm in hurry atm, catching my flight to kl LOL.
