Giancoli textbook as mousepad?? Man, my teacher will be furious. Haha...
This is a beast to carry, around 3.3kg must be a real chore to carry it around; well I guess you have to forgo portability for scorching performance eh?

JFYI, original link here.

The Clevo M860TU/ Sager NP8660 quad core support is now OFFICIAL. Link

Intel® Core™ 2 Quad processor Q9000
(2.26GHz, 45nm, FSB1066, 12MB L2 cache, 478uFC-PGA, Socket P)

And according to Goph from NotebookReview, he got to know from Sager representative, there will be a a new motherboard/ thermal revision M860TU/ NP8660 similar to the recently M570TU > ETU/ NP5796 > NP5797. He also believes that since Q9000 and Q9100 has the same TDP of 45w, the Q9100 should also be supported provided if the bios has it supported.

15.4" Notebook with quad core? Beat that.

I'm thinking of rolling out a buyer's guide but i think this has to wait. Anyway, price has come down a lot since my last purchase. Now you could get similar specification with mine but with the P9600 YET still lower price than mine by a little and also T9800 is now available from Xotic PC for those who prefer better performance.

[EDIT]

2nd link fixed.

Yeah can't agree more, my Inspiron 6400 has 9-cell battery which tips the weighting scale at 3.3kg as well.

Quad processor in a notebook is not a new thing. Quad processor in a 15.4" notebook is a new thing and Clevo got the first.

Anyway it is not available in US only, we just need to wait until major reseller have them in stock for sell.

I'd say the 9600 GT or the old 8800 GS.

The 9800m GTX actually, the 8800m GTX is equivalent to the 9800m GT. Not that the performance gap between the 9800m GT, GTS and GTX is wide, though.
