QUOTE(22 @ Jan 13 2009, 06:37 PM)
If you were to retrieve it yourself, the only thing you'll be paying for is your car's fuel, there is no tax imposed on laptops. Well, for the bank wiring form, I think it's almost the same for all banks. You'd have to have the ABA routing code, bank address, the bank name and etc. Just bring along all the details with you and approach one of the bank's staff and inquire about TT. There should be a form for you to fill up. And of course, don't forget to bring along the cash.

Don't worry about the whole TT, as long as you print out the email that xoticpc sends you regarding the payment method and approach a senior staff of the bank, there's no way you'll go wrong.
If I'm not mistaken, the cash rebate code is written on that page itself, go through the whole page, it is written there in plain sight, if I'm not mistaken, of course.

Weird? I check out, searched through in and out but couldn't find the code. Tried going through the whole process thrice but still nothing. Anyway will try again now, hopefully can see it this time.

Edit: Any idea which page the code was in and which part? (delivery information? or payment information or confirmation?

Hey kira, if I am not mistaken, the code should be cashrebate. This was the code I entered in to get the discount when I ordered my laptop. Hope this helps. smile.gif

Edit: The code can be found at the bottom of the customisation page for Sager laptops (the page where you choose your specs). I quote Xotic PC - Please use coupon code "cashrebate" during our checkout process to receive our special discounted cash price.

its still xoticpc, but it'll be linked to my affiliate acc. ie: i get commission which i'll pass back to you.

QUOTE(kirakun @ Jan 13 2009, 12:00 PM)
Oh that sucks man, anyway can i use the your link for np8660 to get np9262 or do i have to get direct link for np9262 to be eligible for the 10% discount?.

So far already customized to my prefered set up, just waiting to clear up some personal matters before purchasing brows.gif .

Oh ya regarding the unlocked multipliers, u requested after u lay down the purchase or before purchase?

Sorry to bother u during your examination time sweat.gif  and good luck in your examinations.
*
you want the link for the np9262? you'll need the direct link to that product. if you want i'll post it here. you'll need to request for the multiplier to be unlocked before the laptop is shipped.

You mean the cash rebate? Well, as long as the buyer buys via a certain method (TT is inclusive) then you get the rebate.

nope. shipping is another USD223. but after that, the total price you'll get a 3% instant discount.

If you want to buy through my affiliate account, you'll get a total of 13% discount. 3% instant, 10% i'll paypal or TT back to you.

I'm not sure why it's called the 5796 on the mainpage, but the proper name for it is the 5797 smile.gif

those link back to my affiliate acc. You can buy through there, but you'll have to create your own member account on xoticpc.com.

the 17" has the 9800M GTX which is much more powerful than the GT.

ah .. bloody heck.

i got a "nice" email from xoticpc about this 10% of mine. cry.gif

Hence from today onwards, i won't be able to offer this discount any longer. to those who ordered from me before today, i'll do my best to fulfill my obligations. there still another 2-3weeks before i'm due to cash out, so hopefully everything will still go as planned.

Eh.. I thought there's nothing wrong with using corad's link to purchase? It's not like exploiting a loophole or something right?

unless you bought xoticpc warrenty, most of your technical queries are sent to : techsupport@sagernotebook.com . i'm surprised they din't at least email you back.

i'm not too sure how legal it is, with taxes on their side and everything. I'm not one to argue with them, so i'm just letting this one slide sad.gif

still, without the 10% its still a good buy for future buyers thumbup.gif

and to be fair, they were sympathetic when i quoted the high shipping fee's + non local warranty support and replied :
