Guru3d also launched their 4830 reviews. I think I'll read theirs first. They are good as long as you don't go SLI/Crossfire, cuz they don't use a bad ass processor for sli/crossfire.

The 4830 looks much tempting than 4850 since it is only slightly slower than its bigger brother.

yeah, u can say dat. my 2 previous GC b4 3870 was nvidia also.
i learn dis from watching world war documentary. support the weak side, let dem hav n nvr ending fight so u can just benefit from being the middle man.

btw, it seams dat 2008 really belongs 2 the reds.

i nearly went 4 phenom wen it release but change my mind last second. now, i'm glad i din't.
i already swear my next system will b AMD but it will hav 2 wait till AMD actually came out wit a processor worth buying & also new socket.
my prediction of 5k series:
1) improved architecture on 4k
2) die shrink, more shader, cooler gpu
3) faster clock speed so it doesn't bottleneck ddr5.
i dun think so.
i'm actually pretty disappointing wit 4830.
doesn't kick any ass, just a hair in front of 88/9800gt.

I wonder bout ur statement, haha. It's not end of the 4670 since is for budget user and low power consumption, but is end of the 9600GT or 9800GT

Did you forget how easily you can OC 4830 to get the performance of a 4850?

That's quite enormous. That will instantly kill R700(4870x2). If they can still fit that much on a small die.. ouch. I hope nvidia has a plan to go against R800 series. The customers seriously need it.

I'm waiting 4830 CF review. If the pricing mentioned by fellow LYN is correct (RM480~) then CF two 4830 should be faster than a single 4870 which price more or less the same.

Yea..But dont worry,once HD3870 Phased out it should replaced HD3870 price..

HD4850 is a little overhype in my opinion.

Yea, if VPU recover kicks in it means your GC is unstable.

GRID isn't putting as much load as Crysis onto the card which would explain why VPU recover did not occur.

hmm...always new revolution.why dont we just wait 5000 series to come out and see the performance....Maybe we see real human with the card ability...who know..that ati or nvdia have already got the tech but they just want to share it bit by bit so they can get the proftis...dont u think?

i do recommend ASUS TOP bios coz if perform better @ the same time cooler & uses a little less power.
well, crysis is nvr been ATI games. it is heavily optimized for nvidia card.
