Please take note that we will give discount vouchers for new games like Prince of Persia 3, EndWar, Call of Duty 5 and Far Cry 2 for all Gainward users who bought their cards here. Just be reasonable, don't expect RM39 for new games.

The discount vouchers will be inside Gainward box (Nov 08 batch onwards). We will email the discount vouchers with serial numbers to existing users who want to buy these new games.



Also please don't ask us discounts for superhot games like Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2. We know these titles will NOT be released anytime soon (think maybe in another year or more). So let's not talk about them now.

Yes... the new batch of 4850GS are locked the dynamic fan speed on 50%...
mine 1 also same.... but it's nice..cos the idle temp lowest thenn the old batch...

50% fan speed still very quiet ....but if set the fan on 80%..the sound will a bit like aeroplane la ....haha

Ya agree, using the eXtreme Power Supply Calculator lfor the PSU b4 but can't calculate my 12v rails since is ite version. But i had run the sapphire 4850 toxic for the game is ok, so will stress test la, Anyway, worst to worst I just to take off my TV card and 1 hard disk lol. If still really can't then change better PSU since so many good seller here hehe.

60% onwards for me is noisy already 55% still can't hear anything.

55% fan speed, I get 63C for Crysis Warhead. (No aircond room). Used GPU-Z logging, after playing an hour then I look at the log file to see the peak temp.

bad news...seems my seller is out of stock and he can't restock...confirming with him now if is avalaible tomorrow or after raya...hope can get it by tml...got time to test it out...hehe

just receive words from my seller...can't get it until after hari raya...

What I know is, Real Power 450W can run 4850GS no problem at all. A friend of mine using AMD X2, not sure which range. On stock, everything was running well. No problem at all.

Haih sad , i also no able to borrow from him. Must wait until raya only can test, currently still testing my new baby 4670 turbo. Still running the furmark, a bit disappointed on the performance but haven't try for the game yet. Hopefully ok, if not i think will recruit in this club soon

been lurking here for quite a while since I got my 4850GS from a friend in Singapore (no Gainward distro here)

just want to share some pics of my 4850GS:






you all are lucky here @ LYN for you get a very supportive distro and most of the best PC parts are also available here.

here in our country we have a hard time getting the good parts (there are some but limited choices only) and usually have to wait for someone to import it.
