What monitor is that? Install the driver for that monitor?
Last time I gotta install the driver for my 24" to work on 1920x1080@60Hz

Lol, yupe I always download & install driver for my LCD. Sometimes it is not included in the box.
I'm using 8.7. Lazy to upgrade to higher version.

usually the NV / ATI drivers will come with option for you to set already.

so far i have no problem with ATI cards la. nV card, if not monitor then you can custom the resolution you want. i did that for 1680x1050.

Yes, some monitors wont work fine using windows native driver.

Remove the cooler, apply the thermal paste & put it back this will void warranty meh?

Good comparison chart there. But for sure cannot compete with 3rd party cooler lar.

I hv to agree with u.
On the other hand, if u hv a huge monitor like 24", 4870 will b a better choice.
For example I can't run Crysis at Very High setting on my 4850 with 24" monitor, it's lagging doh.gif

I'm now officially joining Gainward ATI User Club after purchasing a 4870GS 512MB from a forumer today. Cannot wait to get it next week.

Pls share ur idle/load temp. I was wondering whether I should get a 3rd party cooler for this card.
