huntkey PSU seems cheap and worth for the price if you believe in what the manufacturer claims
but in reality the PSU only has 70% efficiency and is using obsolete design, low quality components, and kinda unsafe as well; the 450W version exploded after loading it beyond 360W. http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/527 This post has been edited by cyew86: Sep 26 2008, 08:20 PM |

perhaps for the price getting a Cooler Master is even a better choice
but i have read the review of Silverstone ST50EF, it is even better, efficiency of minimum 80% and still can run when loaded with almost 600W of power, talk about real good quality product |

yup, this is the review:
http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/548 of course it does not have those bling bling LED like Huntkey's, but it's the substance that matters |

haha, actually i do not mind getting HIS or Gainward, but HIS was in the top of my list as it looks nicer and has better cooler, amid being a bit more noisy
but since Gainward has all the ports and those extra PCB protection cover all, and u all seem to like this brand, no harm trying |

if i were few years younger, HD4850 GS would tempt me, but as people grow older, they become less interested in gaming (does not apply to everyone of course). so i will be satisfied with just having HD4670 for casual gaming and for study purposes

QUOTE(lehteck @ Oct 2 2008, 06:14 PM) You year 86? If you are old.....then i lol, as i said, does not apply to everyone, i am old at heart If i were few years younger, i also will not buy 4850GS also.. not interested in gaming Movie a lot la Added on October 2, 2008, 6:15 pm Suddenly from gc thread become 18sx thread later but HD4850 GS is worth it for those who are into PC gaming, as price of other hardware are relatively low nowadays so for RM2500, you could get yourself a very decent gaming rig already |

Now...8K and 5k can get good good good spec liow lo... my PC never cost above RM3.5K and the rig i am building (hopefully could get one by next week) would cost less than RM2K have to spend cautiously nowadays QUOTE(picksickrick @ Oct 2 2008, 06:39 PM) lolz! if u are a movie person, having a big widescreen LCD is a must!who isnt interested with sex but yeah...i'm a game person and a movie person too...study as well lah..engineering software needs good gc so this one is a long term purchase...ngek ngek ngek...depends on ppl also la actuallly i like to watch movie too but ... no money for LCD, so have to be satisfied with 17" CRT |
