XMP whats that?....extreme memory profile?...if its that..i didnt use it coz i set everything manually in the bios....i presume it should be better than the auto ones....coz i dont want it to be too slow or too fast...1085mhz with 5-5-5-15 is just nice for me

i dont wanna exceed 2.1v as it would void the warranty (according to corsair site) thats why...and also..mine was put as standard

yes it those thing.

but dont know if it really work with an overclocked system.

well it did stated in the bios (if im not mistaken) that its recommended to set to standard with overclocked settings....so perhaps that would be the best for it.....anyways..i couldnt explore much with this proc anymore as its reached it limit (below 60C) at 3.25 ....so this is as far as i know within the FSB ranges ...not sure much beyond that...

do you increase the NB voltage to do 500FSB?

Added on February 14, 2009, 2:20 am2.00D means its using the 400mhz latch on the MCH with 1:1 ratio

seems like it has turned out to be an oc discussion here. well i have a question too, i know its always best to run at 1:1 ratio, but for my current settings, i could only hit 400 FSB if i wanna keep my vcore at normal value, if i wanna hit more than 450 FSB i'll have to increase my vcore; which i dont want to.

so my question is, should i change my ratio to 5:6 so that my ram would be oced to 960mhz? cuz from everest memory benchmark it indeeds shows improvements in bandwidth and latency. but its running in 5:6 ratio.

my specs are as shown in my sig, and i am expecting my gtx285 soon, and i guess my cpu and rams would be the bottleneck factor for it, so i would just like to squeeze alittle bit more out from my rams. so would changing to 5:6 ratio thus making my rams to run at 960mhz(or more) would increase my pc performance?

or should i stick back with my current 1:1 ratio?

thanks!
