Here's mine
ZeneticX/Xigmatek Archilles S1284/Tuniq TX2/E8400 @ 4.1Ghz/1.31v/stock fan/43c/72c/LinX/no air cond they wont stay long at 72 or 71c as they will quickly drop back down to 68/67c but i posted it as well for the max temp it can reach and i've increased bck the vcore to 1.3125v bcoz at 1.27/28 LinX or even Prime95 keep giving me errors after the 1st or 2nd minutes |

and Prime stop giving out errors too???
if it does than its the proc not getting enough vcore and not the ram. |

sometimes its strange for Prime95,only 1 of the test will show errors (means 1 core) and then the other core will cont

hmm... then more likely it is ur proc....
try tweaking other voltage options in ur bios to see if it helps |

So, is it OK if I change to Cooler Master HyperTX2? After change edi got room for a little but of OC? |

QUOTE(tkh_1001 @ Feb 15 2009, 11:37 AM) thks TS...well..after researching ...ive found the true TJmax for this proc..which is 85C....used the wire thing where you put under the HSF to test the temp also..ive also set my mobo to make irritating beeping sounds when its 60C and aboveso actually my previous post...its over 60C but no beeping sound..so i think the TJmax was wrong at that time.. *so i think ive answered the question for the TJmax of e4300....(as if there's still people using them Added on February 15, 2009, 8:44 pm QUOTE(xcen @ Feb 15 2009, 07:39 PM) Not really leh stock fan is indeed noisy...but temperature wise you dont really need such a good one at stock (though its advisable as cooler temps will ensure longer processor life-span)Now I'm using Pentium D and the stock fan so noisy I need to change a new wan, but I never OC before. So, is it OK if I change to Cooler Master HyperTX2? After change edi got room for a little but of OC? if you change the HSF...it is true that there will be headroom for OC..however..you can still OC with the stock..but of course with that temperature rise, your proc is at risk as it is closer to the TJmax thats the main purpose of the HSFs...like mine..if compared to stock..its still running at the same temps though with an 80% increase in clock speed..therefore..the lifespan is not effected..so to say..it is safe to run 24/7 This post has been edited by Bonchi: Feb 15 2009, 08:44 PM |

hmm 456 FSB..thats quite high..well it seems you have to increase the NB volatage as well...if not mistaken in LYN..there is a thread discussing about your MOBO series ...try searchin 2OZ copper or something like that....there's a rough guide on how to reach 500mhz FSB with the mobo youre using...good luck and all the best in your OC journey

hmmm. i've change the ratio to 4:5 now and my rams are running at 1000mhz. my ram bandwidth has increased to 15GBps but my proc bandwidth is still stuck at 12.8GBps cuz i never increase its clock speed. so since i just change the ratio from 1:1 to 4:5 where i still keep my cpu oc the same, would the increase in ram bandwidth increase performance? cpu bandwidth is still same and less than ram bandwidth tho.

erm, about the cooler master v8.
is there any chance that i can replace the fan with another one? if yes, does the fan controller has to go too? and about the controller, do i have to slot it into a pci slot ori just have to use a expansion slot without slotting it into any of the pci? |

if the fan in the v8 those conventional 12cm ones..i think it is able to be replaced...and the controller....its a pci slot for easy excess...you can put it anywhere else (leave it hanging even drilling a hole on your casing for the knob)
